Nicole Jimeno is best known for being Pedro Jimeno’s villainous younger sister on The Family Chantel, but the Dominican Republic native is trying to make a name for herself away from the show. The younger sister of Pedro is just starting to embrace her role as the leading antagonist of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show, after the first episode of The Family Chantel season 3 aired last Monday night. Nicole is aiming for a differing recognition on social media, as she announced her bid for a pageant title.
With Royal and Angenette Everett sitting out season 3 following the Everett family mistreating Angenette in season 2, Nicole’s storyline is set to expand for the new season. Nicole’s continued relationship with married man Alejandro Padron will lead to conflicts with Pedro and her mother Lidia. Clips for the season show Pedro and Alejandro physically fighting, which leads to Nicole dropping the bombshell announcement on Pedro’s wife Chantel Jimeno that Nicole’s best friend Coraima Morla slept with Pedro behind Chantel’s back. Nicole appears ready to become the leading villain in the dramatic clips that have been released by TLC, though she is portraying a very different image on social media.
Nicole took to her Instagram, @nicole.jimeno, to announce her bid for a big title. She shared a photo of herself with the text “NICOLE JIMENO MISS VALVERDE MAO” and captioned the post, “Road to Miss República Dominicana Universo!! ❤️ I am Miss Valverde 👑.” The announcement means that Nicole will be competing in a pageant to represent her home country of the Dominican Republic. Nicole saw some of her followers supporting her in both English and Spanish. “You can do it!! Focus on all the positive things around you and ignore the negative people,” one fan wrote to her.
While she did have some support, Nicole also had some critics recommending she fix her attitude before entering a beauty contest. “Girl check your attitude first. Acting the way you do in national tv. Girl bye,” another commenter wrote. Meanwhile, Nicole appeared noticeably different in the pageant photo she shared, as she is without her signature braces. Though Nicole has shared many brace-free photos to her social media, she has yet to appear on The Family Chantel without her braces. Many viewers have speculated as to whether or not Nicole needs braces or if she is embracing the look for personal preference. Nicole’s social media also revealed that she went through with the breast augmentation procedure she is exploring on The Family Chantel.
While Nicole is trying to make a name for herself apart from reality TV and her brother Pedro, many 90 Day Fiancé fans consider her to be a leading franchise villain. Nicole has angered audiences with her endless conflicts with Chantel, as many viewers think she comes across and whiny, argumentative, and immature. Since Nicole has overall received a negative reception from The Family Chantel viewers, it’s unlikely she’ll find much support from TLC fans. However, she certainly has close friends such as Coraima to fall back on as she aims for the pageant title.
