Pedro and Chantel Jimeno are divorcing on The Family Chantel, and many fans think their breakup is bad for their careers. They have made their living off of showing fans the ups and downs in their relationship, even getting a spin-off show about it, but that likely ends when their relationship does. When couples break up, the show that is about their relationship usually gets canceled because there is nothing left to talk about.

After appearing on 90 Day Fiancé together, Chantel and Pedro had such a dramatic marriage (and opinionated family members) to make for the best kind of reality TV. There have been four seasons of The Family Chantel, making reality stars out of their family members like Chantel's younger sister, Winter Everett as well. The show had everything from physical fights at the dinner table, to screaming matches between the young married couple, and they get a lot of their income from those show-stopping moments.

Besides being reality stars, Pedro got his real estate license, which he can fall back on if the show gets canceled after their divorce goes through. Chantel is a nurse and social media influencer, but the pair's popularity might take a hit if they don't have a camera crew following them around anymore. Chantel and Pedro have achieved fame and made a career out of The Family Chantel, and fans think when the relationship goes, the rest will follow. The money rolls in when they bring the drama, which their marriage certainly has a lot of.

Like many 90 Day Fiancé couples, Chantel and Pedro had a whirlwind relationship, getting engaged after she had only met him in person three times. They became fan-favorites on 90 Day Fiancé season 4, and really started to bring the family drama when Chantel and Pedro's families collided in his native Dominican Republic. Things came to a head when Pedro was accused of cheating, and the couple ultimately filed for divorce in 2021.

Though Chantel and Pedro's divorce might not be the best career move for the pair, fans are happy to see them move on from their toxic relationship. Since another 90 Day Fiancé couple Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet are slated to have their own spin-off, some fans are wondering if they are replacing Chantel and Pedro. Even though they are divorced, one of them could also join a spin-off about stars looking for love again, like Darcey and Stacey Silva's spin-off, Darcey & Stacey. The Family Chantel stars made a fortune off of their relationship, but this may be the end of their reality TV career.
