Lee Swift is catfishing his co-stars on The Circle season 2, but the fans are falling in love with this book author's real personality on the show. Sometimes, it can be hard for a person that didn't grow up in the age of social media to play The Circle along with a bunch of social media experts. But as a writer, Lee showed that he had the potential to conceptualize a character and embody that individual in every post, statement, and response that he shares with the other players on the show.

Currently, 58-year-old Lee Swift from Dallas, Texas is the oldest person in the cast of The Circle season 2. Alas, Lee is competing on the Netflix show with the catfish of "River," who was described as a 24-year-old student. To put a face to the name, Lee used pictures from his actual friend, Doak Rapp, who can be found at @avengers_assemble21 on Instagram. According to his official website, Lee is an author of LGBTQIA+ novels under the pen name of Kris Cook. As such, Lee has basically been working as a catfish his entire life. His published works include titles like The Doctor in Unit H, Three to PlayCupid's ArrowLevi's Rogues, and Holiday Beaus. Lee has also co-written with Lana McLemore.

Lee still doesn't have social media following that his The Circle co-stars have, but judging by his appearance on the Netflix series, that will certainly be changing over the next few weeks. As of this writing, Lee has just about 2,000 on Instagram, where he enjoys sharing personal videos. Lee's IG content includes asking for tips on how to use the Reels feature, showing off his beautiful dog Rosie getting some grooming, and suggesting products that he enjoys. In one of his recent posts, Lee also thanked his friend Doak Rapp for letting him use Doak's pictures on The Circle US.

Judging by the first few episodes, Lee Swift will play a slow-and-steady game on The Circle where he builds connections and expands his horizons while also not straying too far away from his trusted circle of allies. There is definitely no formula to winning a competition like The Circle, but Lee (as River) has managed to progressively show more of his personality to the other players. He has the potential to go all the way, but this game is only getting started.

There is no doubt that Lee will be gaining tons of fans and followers while competing on The Circle. He is playing a great game while also showing his kindness and vulnerability to the viewers. In typical The Circle fashion, there are many layers to Lee that the fans are now just getting to know.
