Competing on The Challenge: Double Agents has been a new experience for Tori Deal, as it marks her first season since Final Reckoning without now-ex-fiancé Jordan Wiseley by her side. This The Challenge veteran has competed alongside Jordan on three of her five seasons of the show, though the currently airing season 36 sees Tori Deal showing up to battle without any romantic partners in tow.

Tori made her MTV debut on Are You The One? season 4. She was in a relationship with season 5 contestant and fellow competitor Derrick Henry upon making her competitive debut on The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty. Despite the couple speaking about potential marriage plans at the start of the season, Derrick received an early boot. Tori was left in the house for far longer, with veteran Jordan guiding the rookie to her debut final. Derrick later revealed during the season’s reunion that Tori had cheated on him with Jordan. However, Jordan and Tori seemed to make things work, which led to Jordan proposing to Tori in front of the entire house, after winning an elimination round on War of the Worlds 2. However, the couple shocked fans by announcing their amicable The Challenge split on Instagram on November 27.

Tori opened up to People about her recent breakup. Competing on a season without Jordan appeared to have given Tori some perspective on their relationship. "It's one of those interesting things when you take so much time apart from somebody, now you're not in their face and you don't have to think about what's wrong in front of them and then fight about it," she said. "You can really sit and reflect on it when you're away, and both him and I needed that." Though the 27-year-old said it would have “been fine” if her then-fiancé had joined her on the show, she said it “felt nice” to appear solo following two seasons of competing together. She said that after being cooped up for so long due to the pandemic, it felt refreshing to have a fun time with fellow competitors and friends, such as Aneesa Ferreira. Tori always stays positive, as seen below:

After Tori and Jordan both respectfully announced their breakup, Tori said she had good feelings about the mutual split. "I'm really happy that Jordan and I are on the same page," she said. "It would suck to have a really nasty breakup, especially when you've created a lot of years of love with somebody. You don't want to just throw it in the trash." She doesn't want viewers to downplay her relationship with Jordan or say that it was just for television. She said that she is "nauseated" at the prospect of considering another public relationship with a co-star in the future.

Tori and Jordan shared a sweet and oftentimes public relationship, with the former-couple collaborating together on more than just The Challenge. They often sang together and shared their Californian lives with their hairless cat Miso. However, Tori is still involved in many projects of her own making. She currently is the host of "Tori Dealing with" podcast, the author of the children's book The Search for Syrup, and the co-creator of Suiheart Club, a meditation, Tarot, and yoga community. She also hosts MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast with Aneesa. The young influencer and The Challenge: Double Agents competitor also uses her platform of over 600k Instagram followers to share motivational posts.
