The Boys have satirized pretty much every single major superhero in one way or another in Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's popular comic series. But, perhaps the most short-lived team was the Team Titanic, a cleary parody of the Teen Titans that were absolutely awful at doing their job.

The comic series first launched in 2006, as it followed a group called 'The Boys' who followed supes around in a world chalked full of powered heroes. The Boys intentionally parodied a number of iconic superheroes including Homelander (Superman), The Deep (Aquaman), Queen Maeve (Wonder Woman), and Tek Knight (Iron Man and Batman). The Boys' version of heroes are corrupt, mostly vile people who work under a corporate umbrella and are all about public image. The series has become a successful Amazon TV show starring Karl Urban and Antony Starr. The show has brought a number of The Boys heroes to the small screen - however, the comic's version of the Teen Titans hasn't yet to be seen.

Team Titanic is a clear satire of DC's Teen Titans. Their version includes Dry-Hump (Cyborg), The Starlike (Starfire), Muzzletov (Zatanna), Regina Dentata (Raven), and a handful of other superpowered team members. However, much like the other heroes in The Boys, Team Titanic is full of selfish, money and power-hungry characters - with Muzzletov, in particular, being a piece of work, as he uses his reverse-speak in unsavory ways. The team is comprised of former sidekicks who aged out of the teen side of superheroism and are a group of misfits pieced together. The Cleveland-based heroes even have their own tower, much like Titans Tower, the Star Tower. As Vought tries to hire them for protection, Frenchie and The Female burst into the meeting and attacked.

Team Titanic Members

Team Titanic doesn't fair well against The Female. She slices Muzzletov's head off of his body, and bursts through the gigantic Dry-Hump cyborg and rips out his spine. It's a gruesome scene. When The Female is done with them, only three members remain alive - The Starlike, Jimmy the One, and Gumchum. The Female is one of the strongest supes there is and is near impossible to put down, but considering the fight was two on ten, Team Titanic did an absolutely awful job at defending themselves. Honestly, the remaining survivors are lucky that they weren't killed too.

Team Titanic only made a handful of appearances in the comics which was bookended by a brutal massacre of the team. They were much worse heroes than their DC Comics counterparts and rank atop the most ill-prepared teams showcased in The BoysThe fight proved that even with a stark advantage in numbers and powers, the team was largely incompetent - and they paid the price for it. Time will tell Team Titanic eventually make their way onto the TV show in the future and whether they'll last more than a single episode.
