In the twisted world of Amazon Prime's The Boys, the superheroes are almost unequivocally the bad guys. Nearly every character introduced with powers has been something of a villain. That's especially true for most of the members of the corrupt group known as The Seven.

They're meant to be beacons of hope and the seven greatest heroes around. Instead, most are violent egomaniacs who do terrible things. Basically, they're not meant to be likable but some have surprised viewers. So far on the series, there have been nine members of the Seven (present and former) who have appeared but only some are even a little bit likable.

Stormfront

As season one was progressing, it seemed next to impossible to imagine a character less likable than Homelander. Then, season two introduced the audience to Stormfront. At first, she seemed okay as she was not shy to call out Vought for their antics but then the show peeled back the curtain on her.

It turns out that Stormfront really enjoys killing people and watching the light go out in their eyes. On top of that, it was discovered that she was racist. To keep piling on, she revealed to Homelander that she was a literal Nazi who wants to create a "master race." There was nothing to like about the character.

Homelander

Homelander from The Boys, smiling widely.

In terms of being someone you want to watch and can't keep your eyes off of, nobody tops Homelander. Every scene he's involved in is filled with tension because viewers never know if he's going to snap and obliterate someone. Of course, as entertaining as that is, it's not the mark of a likable person.

Homelander is terrifyingly powerful and he knows it. He uses that to intimidate everyone around him and get what he wants. There's also not much off-limits to him. Homelander has let people die, he's murdered children, he raped Becca, and he shows no remorse over it. His childhood had a few sympathetic moments but if it wasn't for his lover in season two, he'd easily be at the bottom of the list.

Translucent

The Boys Season 1 Translucent

Translucent appeared the least of any member of The Seven on the series and that includes those who had already left the team before the events of the show unfolded. When things began, he used his power of invisibility to be a pervert, spying on Maeve and Starlight in the bathroom.

Judging by Maeve's reaction, this is something he did on a regular basis. It's made even creepier when you consider that he has to be naked to be fully invisible. His actions are less appalling than those listed below him, but they're still heinous and he doesn't show up enough to ever get a moment of redemption or remorse.

The Deep

The Deep from The Boys, sitting in a chair, arm on the armrest, looking sullen in the dark.

As soon as The Deep arrives, he becomes a villain nobody wants to like. He sexually assaults Starlight on her very first day and it makes the audience want to hate him immediately. While that's not forgivable, the show has certainly made The Deep pay for what he did.

He was basically kicked out of The Seven, sent away from the group, and made to look like a joke on a constant basis. The series dove into the past of The Deep, showing his many insecurities and how it has shaped him. He's a man looking for redemption, which can at least be appreciated.

Lamplighter

This is another case where someone came across as despicable at first. Lamplighter is a former member of The Seven who was replaced by Starlight. All that was heard of him before he showed up was that he burned a bunch of children alive. Combine that with his work at the Sage Grove Center and fans were ready to hate.

That changed in "The Bloody Doors Off" when he explained that he never meant to kill the kids as their mother was his true target. That's not exactly a good target but it's nice enough compared to the rest of The Seven. Regardless of his intentions, he was still a jerk and his decision to kill himself rather than help in the fight against Vought hurt his redemption.

A-Train

A.Train with his arms crossed

Similar to The Deep, viewers are meant to strongly dislike A-Train in his first appearance. He starts the show with a bang, using his superspeed to run right through Hughie's girlfriend Robin, killing her in the process. Though it's an accident, he laughs about it later and doesn't even apologize to Hughie sincerely.

However, compared to the rest of The Seven, that's not quite that awful. Plus, he hasn't done anything nearly as bad since. A-Train is addicted to Compound V, though that mostly only hurts himself and not others. He also redeems himself somewhat by helping The Boys in the season two finale after being sick of Stormfront's racism.

Black Noir

Black Noir in The Boys Season 2

Black Noir is certainly the most fascinating and mysterious member of The Seven. He's the one who fans know the least about. All they can be sure of is that he's vicious, powerful, a loyal soldier, and that he has a very unexpected allergy to tree nuts, which can easily stop him. The Boys has certainly depicted Black Noir doing some truly brutal things, including ripping someone's jaw in half.

Still, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of hateful intent or anything like that from him. He just goes about his day, doing what Vought asks of him. He was nice to a kid at the start of season two, so maybe he's not all that bad and is just being manipulated by Vought. He's also had some pretty funny moments, like when he randomly played piano, which helps him be enjoyable.

Queen Maeve

Queen Maeve

Season one kind of gave Queen Maeve the shaft as she didn't really do all that much. Other than agreeing to let an airplane go down, she didn't have many detestable or moments. The same goes for the likable side of things, as she barely even helped Starlight on several occasions.

Thankfully, she had a much better season two. Maeve became sympathetic for her feud with Homelander and how it was fracturing her relationship, as well as how her sexual orientation was being manipulated by Vought to make money. At the end of it all, she not only shows up to help in the fight against Stormfront but she's also the one to prevent Homelander from harming Billy and Ryan by finally standing up to him.

Starlight

There could be no other top choice. Sure, Starlight can sometimes be a bit grating or annoying but she's the one person in The Seven who is designed to be cheered for. She immediately gets a crash course in how corrupt the group is and she's against their nature despite staying with them.

It's Starlight who works with The Boys, falls in love with Hughie, and stands up against Vought on national television. Season two saw her kill someone, though it wasn't intentional and even with that bit of darkness, Starlight remains one of the only members of The Seven to feel like a good person.
