With season 3 of The Boys recently concluding, many fans of Amazon's superhero drama have been left craving more. The Seven may all have powerful abilities in comparison to the other supes of their own world, but competing with the Avengers in the MCU is a whole other story.

The Avengers have some major powerhouses, so The Boys characters will be matched up against similarly powered foes. These characters' past accomplishments in battle are used as reference to their fighting capabilities, as well as other nuggets of information about them revealed in their respective media.

Hawkeye Out Shoots Eagle The Archer

Hawkeye vs Eagle the Archer

Eagle is essentially a parody of the archer heroes, and the show jokes about the viability of the bow and arrow as a means of fighting crime in the 21st century. Hawkeye, on the other hand, seems to make it work against alien invasions as well as street-level threats.

Eagle may be a talented archer, but his description of his heroics seems to display him as incompetent, specifically for the event where he ran out of arrows and lost many of his allies. Hawkeye can always fall back on his hand-to-hand combat when the quiver is empty.

Scarlet Witch Has No Mercy For Crimson Countess

Split image of Scarlet Witch and Crimson Countess from The Boys

Crimson Countess is a powerful fighter in The Boys universe, as her fire abilities also come with enhanced strength, which Lamplighter, the other fire-wielding supe, doesn't possess. But she's just no match for Wanda.

Since Wandavision, the MCU's Scarlet Witch has become an increasingly popular character, and certainly one of the most powerful female characters in the MCU. She's also the most powerful Avenger and continues to grow stronger with each installment.

Thor Slams Homelander To Valhalla

Homelander vs Thor

Homelander is arguably the most powerful Supe, so it's unfortunate for him that he has to compete with one of the strongest Avengers in Thor. Thor, empowered by his mystical weapons, is extremely strong and skilled, with over 1,000 years of battle experience.

Homelander, on the other hand, has never faced opponents of his magnitude, and his lack of experience and weaker durability compared to Thor just make the battle too big of a challenge for him. If Superman had a hard time with Thor, Homelander would stand no chance. Thor is one of the most powerful characters in the whole MCU, and should not be underestimated because of his goofiness.

Quicksilver Outruns A-Train

Quicksilver and A-train fight

In The Seven's matchups against the Justice League, A-Train can't compete with The Flash. Unfortunately, The Boys' premiere speedster just doesn't have what it takes to go head to head with Quicksilver either. The Boys attempts to ground itself in realism, and as such, many of their powers are significantly weaker.

A-Train's speed record is 371 m/s, which is certainly impressive. While the MCU's Quicksilver was short-lived, considered one of the most disappointing MCU characters, and doesn't have any recorded speeds, fans have been able to come up to conclusions about his power based on his motions in Age of Ultron.

Black Noir Overpowers Deadpool

who would win between black noir and deadpool

While Deadpool's path to the MCU is still uncertain, he's close enough to count against his The Boys counterpart. Deadpool can't die, so this does make things difficult for Black Noir. But if the fight is not to the death, there's definitely more of a toss-up.

Not too much is known about Black Noir's combat skill in the show, but his superhuman strength likely gives him the edge over the mercenary, who would be relying on weaponry as well as hand-to-hand combat. Since both are meant to be expert combatants, strength puts Noir in favor. Both characters also have great comedic potential, with Black Noir having some hilarious memes made about him.

Soldier Boy Detonates Captain America

captain america vs soldier boy

Essentially mocking the idea of a patriotic superhero, Soldier Boy became recognized as an evil version of Marvel's legendary hero. Both have a very similar skill set, with two key differences. Captain America's shield and Soldier Boy's explosive blast.

The shield and fighting experience are definitely on Cap's side, and he would likely take home victory in a hand-to-hand fight. Soldier Boy's blast would be far too devastating to come into contact with, and even Captain America wouldn't be able to handle it.

Daredevil Out-Senses Blindspot

Daredevil vs Blindspot

Blindspot only made a brief appearance in Season 2 of The Boys, but it was certainly memorable. The blind hero showed off some impressive moves before Homelander arrived and brutally injured his ears, preventing his hearing. While this character was primarily in the show for comedic relief, he did show off some sweet skills in his moment.

Sweet skills wouldn't be enough to handle Daredevil though. Blindspot is weakened almost entirely without his ears, whereas Daredevil has a more reliable use of his senses in combat, with all of them coming into play, allowing him to almost see what's in front of him. Not to mention, Daredevil is a proven fighter against some deadly villains in the MCU.

Professor X Has No Issue With Mesmerizer

Mesmer vs Professor X

While fans have speculated on who will truly be playing Professor X in the MCU, Patrick Stewart's appearance in Multiverse of Madness qualifies the character for the battle. Mesmer is inferior to Charles Xavier in many ways, but the biggest jump is that Mesmer is required to touch the person whose mind he intends to read.

Charles Xavier could destroy him before he even got close. Professor X is an extremely powerful mutant and telepathic hero, while Mesmerizer's powers are essentially a party trick. Moving objects with his mind is also a serious advantage Professor X would have.

Black Panther Destroys Nubian Prince

Black Panther vs Nubian Prince

Nubian Prince is briefly featured in the first season of The Boys, but more story is given to him in The Boys: Diabolical. The character, like many of the supes, is almost entirely an act put on to build a mythological persona, when in reality, Nubian Prince isn't that powerful. Black Panther would surely love to give him a butt-whooping.

Not only does Black Panther have far superior fighting abilities and access to better technology, but he also has the might of Wakanda supporting him, making him an extremely powerful force. Nubian Prince is a store-bought brand version and stands no chance.

A Stretchy Fight Between Mister Fantastic And Ezekiel

Mister Fantastic vs Ezekiel

Ezekiel's fighting abilities aren't too well recorded in The Boys, with his primary purpose being as a supe representative for Capes for Christ. While that doesn't necessarily mean he's a poor fighter, he definitely doesn't have the credibility or experience to compete with Mister Fantastic.

Reed Richards is declared in The Multiverse of Madness as the smartest man alive, which would certainly allow him some strategic advantage in a fight against another stretchy hero. Ezekiel doesn't have what it takes to fight the Marvel legend.
