Warning! Potential spoilers for The Boys TV and comic book series below.

Homelander from The Boys is an absolute monster who often needlessly kills people just for the fun of it. While the general public believes the Superman-esque member of The Seven is a good guy, Homelander is anything but. No moment from the comic proves that point more than the time he killed an entire family for no good reason.

The Boys comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson was originally published by Wildstorm before shifting to Dynamite Entertainment. The series followed 'The Boys' who took a special interest in the superhero community as a whole. The superheroes of the series are much darker and corrupted by power and ego as the public believes - as most, if not all of the Seven (The Boys' Justice League), were actually quite terrible people. The leader of the Seven was Homelander, a patriotic hero akin Superman, however, his own selfishness and evilness make him quite the opposite of his DC counterpart. Comic book Homelander is much more similar to his portrayal of his TV version - played by Antony Starr - and one time, he took his penchant for killing to a messed up new level.

In The Boys #47, readers are taken to the religious organization Believe's superhero convention, where Homelander proudly graces the stage. It's there it's announced that the Mullers, a family from New York, have won the grand prize of having dinner with the superhero himself. Homelander grabs the car the family is in and flies them away into the sky. As the Mullers are freezing from being so high up in the air, Homelander makes some extremely racist comments and tells them they might as well have burned their cash instead of giving it to religion. That's when he drops the family out of the sky to their deaths.

Homelander The Boys

While Homelander has committed more gruesome acts, this particular scene stands out as it was completely senseless. The family wins a prize from their religious organization and instead of eating dinner with the superhero, they're brought above the clouds and dropped to their deaths - all simply because Homelander could. He could have canceled the dinner, but instead, he opts to murder the entire family (including two young children) in one of the most terrifying ways imaginable.

Homelander isn't a hero. He wears a cape and a costume and assists The Seven on PR-driven missions, but there's little question he's a villain with an absolutely twisted psyche and distorted view of reality. Dropping the Muller family from the sky proves how terrifying Homelander is and will continue to be. He's unpredictable with god-like powers, making Homelander the most dangerous person in the entire universe of The Boys.
