The Boys and Supes both are filled with characters that have shown a lot of bravery from time to time. The fearlessness shown by average humans in The Boys team is certainly commendable considering they do not have any superpowers and still they clash against the powerful Supes.

A-Train

Jessie Usher as A Train in The Boys

A-Train is a Supe with superspeed abilities. Like most other Supes in the Seven, he doesn't care about helping people. However, he is not as bad as other Supes such as Homelander, Stormfront, and Black Noir.

A-Train is mostly selfish, but in trying to achieve his own goals, he can be brave as well. He helped The Boys in revealing the real face of Stormfront by stealing her files from the archives of The Church of The Collective. That was a risky move because Homelander or Stormfront would have immediately killed him or worse if they knew about it.

Black Noir

Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir The Boys

Black Noir is a rip-off of Batman and a member of The Seven. Like Batman, he is kind of a lone wolf. He goes to eliminate his enemies on his own even if he doesn't have any superpowers except that he is an exceptional martial artist and fighter.

He goes on to kill an entire group of terrorists alone and one of them even had superpowers. Thus, even knowing that he can encounter people with any kind of ability does not deter him from going after them alone and completing the mission.

Homelander

Depicting an evil Superman in The Boys universe, Homelander is the leader of the Seven. Even though he is one of the most malicious villains on television right now, he is also brave. However, there is no doubt that his reason for bravery is his superpowers, which are known to be the best on the planet right now.

Homelander has a lot of childhood trauma but the fact that he is still able to keep his head above water no matter what is proof of his courage and he hardly ever backs down from a fight.

Frenchie

Frenchie is devoid of any super abilities. His asset in The Boys team is that he is great with computers and technology. However, that doesn't stop him from being bold and courageous when it is required of him.

He is the only member of The Boys who seems to have no personal vendetta against Vought and Supes. So, being willing to fight against such powerful nemeses without a personal reason is a testament to Frenchie's bravery. Moreover, he stands up to Butcher and other team members for Kimiko, which again shows that he can be gutsy and resilient for things that he believes in.

Hughie

Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell in The Boys

Hughie might not have any superpowers or great fighting abilities. However, when it comes to courage, he has plenty of that. Even though he is just an average human, he is so fueled by getting justice for his girlfriend and all the people that have been wronged by the Supes that he joins The Boys.

Going against the Supes takes a lot of courage as he is essentially putting his life in danger every day. He also had to abandon his father and his normal life for this. He has killed off Translucent, who was a Supe and in season 2, he went to rescue Starlight knowing that he might lose his life in the process.

Queen Maeve

Queen Maeve in The Boys

Queen Maeve's character arc is extremely interesting. In season 1, she struggles to stand up for herself or go against Homelander and she has essentially accepted things the way they are. However, in season 2, she shows a great deal of bravery.

Queen Maeve finally stands up for Starlight in season 2 and takes down Black Noir. In the season finale, she not only joins Kimiko and Starlight in fighting against Stormfront, but she blackmails Homelander, threatening to release his video where he let the passengers of the plane crash die. Going up against Homelander is one of the bravest things anyone can do in The Boys.

Mother's Milk

Part of The Boys, Mother's Milk or M.M. has a family with a wife and a daughter. Despite being a family man, he fights against Vought and Supes relentlessly. Unlike Butcher and Hughie, he doesn't have vengeance as a reason to go against the Supes.

He wants to continue his father's fight against Vought and make them answer for all the crimes they have committed over decades. Thus, it is his bravery that drives him to fight against Supes and not revenge. Due to this, he has to stay away from his family, which is in itself a huge sacrifice to make.

Butcher

Billy Butcher in The Boys Season 2

Butcher is the leader of The Boys and was formerly a member of the British military. His whole life was turned upside down when his wife went missing. He makes his team as formidable as it is. He is incredibly fearless as he even fought against Translucent using only his hands.

Like Homelander, Butcher never backs down from a fight no matter who is the opponent. But what makes Butcher braver is that, unlike Homelander, he has no special abilities. This might change in the upcoming season. Butcher goes into every fight knowing that it might lead to his death but that doesn't deter him in any way. Because of his courage and boldness, the Vought is shaken up.

Starlight

Starlight or Annie is one of the newest members of The Seven and she has a lot of morals and religious values when she joins in. She is disillusioned on her very first day but she doesn't back down. Starlight tells her story of sexual assault to the world leading to the immediate expulsion of The Deep from The Seven.

Starlight secretly starts working for The Boys, bringing them insider information from Vought, knowing that it can have bad consequences for her. She doesn't even back down when Homelander threatens her. She tries to use her power for good even when she is surrounded by Supes abusing their abilities and this takes an immense amount of bravery.

Kimiko

The Boys Karen Fukuhara Kimiko

Kimiko's story is one of the saddest stories on the show. Her parents were killed when she was a kid and she and her brother were forcibly recruited by a Chinese terrorist group. They were forced to serve in their army for several years.

When The Boys find her, Kimiko is an extremely fearless killer with superhuman abilities. She is the fiercest character in the show as is always ready to fight and kill bad people. She did not even hesitate a bit to fight with Supes like Black Noir and Stormfront. Kimiko loves her brother a lot and she went through a lot to keep him safe. Her love for the people she cares about is a source of her fearlessness.
