Amazon's The Boys has a multitude of characters that fans love. Some may be immoral, and others are outright despicable, but they still have legions of fans. The show's cast is considerable, but there seems to be something for everybody.
Black Noir is one of the most curious and enigmatic members of The Seven. Silent but surprisingly sympathetic, Black Noir's identity remains a mystery, and that only increases his appeal. Fanart is the perfect way for audiences to relate to these characters. And with such an obscure character as Black Noir, fans can make the art even more personal by adding things to the ambiguous source material.

Twitter user and artist Infamous Wade delivers a new and quirkier version of Black Noir with his fanart. Taking some inspiration from the Merc with a Mouth and exploiting the similarities between the characters, the artist translates Deadpool's sensibilities into Black Noir.
The result is an original take on a character that isn't usually associated with quirk or humor. It's an excellent piece.
Black Noir & White Rose
Artist eseker031 is clearly a fan of The Boys. His page in DevianArt has some inspired takes on The Seven that go from charming to chilling. For his Black Noir fanart, the artist chooses to focus on the still unexplored sensitive side of the character, and the result is surprisingly wholesome.
Holding a white rose to his face as if smelling it, the masked hero seemingly hovers on air. The smoke surrounding him gives the illustration an ethereal and almost fantastical look, a sort of romanticism that strangely fits with the character.
Home Noir
Black Noir remains secretive as ever in the show. However, fans of the comic book know that, beneath his mask, he is a clone of Homelander. Vought International created a clone so that, should Homelander ever go rogue, they'd have a weapon to stop him.
Artist and student Clara de Rambures, also responsible for one of the pieces above, makes perfect use of this in her portrayal of the two characters. Standing side by side, as if two sides of the same coin, Homelander smiles, eyes gleaming with red chaos. Black Noir's covered face prevents viewers from seeing what happens underneath, but perhaps he also smiles.
A Bloody Mess
Fans of the show will be familiar with Black Noir's violent nature. Like the other supes in The Boys' merciless universe, Black Noir has no problem with killing and torturing, all in favor of fulfilling his orders.
Artist Marco del Forno offers a more straightforward take on the character that nonetheless excels and astonishes. A close-up of Black Noir reveals bloodstains on his chest. He holds two equally bloody knives, his covered face leaning down, surrounded by shadows. And even though they can't really see them, fans can almost feel the myriad of emotions going through the man's head.
The Dark Noir
If Homelander is The Boys' equivalent of Superman, then Black Noir is their Batman. The two share the same brooding personality, stealthy tactics, and quiet demeanor. In fact, their costumes even share similarities, among many other subtle hints.
MizuriAU, an Australian artist and student, blurs the line between Black Noir and the Dark Knight and mixes them. The result is an almost seamless union between the two characters. Should the Dark Noir exist, criminals in every universe would stand no chance.
The Hottest Voice
Everyone knows, even the show's casual viewers, that Black Noir doesn't speak. He only says a couple of things in the comics, and he's even quieter in the show. This adds to the enigma of his persona and increases the uncertainty surrounding him.
Canadian illustrator Smack's Art provides a humorous take on the masked supe. Smack's Black Noir becomes the butt of the joke when an unseen character compliments his voice, describing it as "the hottest." The supe turns to the voice's direction, and the absence of an expression makes the whole thing even funnier.
Film Noir Black Noir
Movie lovers are familiar with the film noir style. Popularized in Classical Hollywood cinema, noir employs cynical attitudes and sexual motivations in crime dramas. Noir pictures stand out thanks to their distinctive black-and-white cinematography, distinctive score, and heavily stylized shots.
Redditor web45689 takes advantage of the play on words and introduces Black Noir into a prototypical film noir image. The superhero stands in an empty room, faint light coming in through the half-closed blinds. It's a perfect representation of a character who would feel right at home in a film noir from the '40s.
