Amazon's The Boys isn't very subtle with its satirical takes on popular DC and Marvel characters. However, one supe, Tek Knight, (who's been briefly mentioned on the show) is actually the combination of two different iconic heroes. Part Iron Man and part Batman, Tek Knight is a twisted hero who's comic story is completely messed up.

Almost every single hero in The Boys universe is a parody of a DC or Marvel character. The Deep is Aquaman, Queen Mauve is Wonder Woman, Homelander is Superman, and A-Train is The Flash, while The Seven is a corporate take on the Justice League. Tek Knight, who's yet to appear on the show, is a mix of both Iron Man and Batman. However, the supe has one big problem: He can't control his sexual urges at all.

In The Boys #7-10 by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, Tek Knight is introduced as one of the original members of a superhero group called Payback (with Stormfront). Like Batman, he is a billionaire with his own cave, has a trusted sidekick (Laddio), and a butler who is like a father to him. Like Iron Man, he has a high-tech, advanced suit that he uses to fly and fight crime. Unlike most heroes in The Boys universe, Tek-Knight doesn't have any powers besides his massive wealth. He isn't a product of Compound V. Unlike Batman and Iron Man, Tek Knight is crippled by sex addiction - a problem so bad, he wants to have sex with literally everything and everyone he encounters.

Tek Knight in The Boys

The four-issue arc explores Tek Knight's overwhelming addiction to sex and his connection to the murder of a man who was said to have a relationship with a fellow hero, Swingwing. Readers find out that Tek Knight's addiction is so bad, that he tries to have sex with pretty much everybody (and thing) that comes across his way, including his butler, Vernon, who tells the tabloids about his issues, forcing him into retirement.

Tek Knight's story in The Boys comic universe is short but ends with a bang. After saving a woman and a child's life, Knight is shown flying into space to stop an asteroid from hitting Earth. He halts the asteroid by having sex with it and dies in the subsequent explosion. However, it's immediately revealed that never happened and Tek Knight actually bit the dust thanks to a brain tumor that was clearly screwing with his perception of reality.

Tek Knight is a very dark and lewd take on Batman and Iron Man. His addiction and relative short-arc made him a memorable, but one-note character. But, his death - at least how he perceived it - was hilarious. It will be interesting to see if Tek Knight ever makes the transition to the television series and if his portrayal is similar to the comic book version of the character. The Boys has proven it can get weird, but Tek Knight would add a whole new dynamic to the most messed-up superhero television show currently streaming.
