The Batman actor Robert Pattinson's chin gets edited onto images of other classic characters in a recent hilarious fan-edit. Pattinson is the most recent actor to don the cape and cowl of the Caped Crusader, and has recently taken cinemas by storm in The Batman. The film, which is the first set outside the DCEU since Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, follows the world's greatest detective in his second year of crime fighting as he tracks down a mysterious serial killer known as the Riddler (Paul Dano). The Batman is helmed by Matt Reeves and has been receiving acclaim from both critics and audiences since its release on March 4.

While there have been many different versions of Batman over the years, his basic look has always remained the same. It's true that if one was to compare the costume worn by Adam West in the '60s to Pattinson's newest look, many differences could be found, but there are many basic elements which have stayed the same throughout Batman's history. One example is his iconic cowl -  the Batman mask has always contained two pointed, bat-like ears and only covers the top half of the actor's face, leaving the mouth and chin exposed.

As one can imagine, negative comments on the post are few and far between; all are praising the fan-art, with the fire emoji being used in abundance. Many express a desire to see Pattinson take on each of these roles in new movies. He is being particularly praised for looking good as Cyclops and Wolverine, suggesting he might be meant to have an X-Men project somewhere in his future.

Artist Mat has certainly proved that Pattinson would look good as a number of notable superhero or sci-fi characters. While many were skeptical when he was first cast as Batman, it seems the initial skepticism towards Pattinson has passed, and fans are ready to see him take the superhero genre by storm. This is not really a surprise, as The Batman has certainly made more than a good impression since its release. Some fans have even suggested that it is better than The Dark Knightwhich until now has been almost universally accepted as the best Batman film. As it stands, Pattinson can't be found in any other superhero films yet - however, fans can still catch his chin in action in The Batman.
