A new video for The Batman created by a fan on Reddit compiles all the clips that have been released so far of the car chase that takes place between Penguin and Bruce Wayne in the upcoming DC film. Matt Reeves' highly anticipated comic-book adaptation will see Robert Pattinson take on the role of Gotham's Caped Crusader, alongside a stand-out supporting cast that includes the likes of Paul Dano, Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and Jeffrey Wright. Dano and Farrell will star as two of Batman's most iconic villains, the Riddler and the Penguin, respectively, with the pair set to cause chaos for Pattinson's Wayne, who is still getting to grips with his new role as a vigilante.

With The Batman having been confirmed to have drawn inspiration from the classic Batman comics Year One and The Long Halloween, Riddler is expected to be Bruce Wayne's key antagonist within the events of the film. However, Farrell's appearance as Oswald Cobblepot immediately set the internet ablaze when clips of his insane transformation were initially revealed back at DC Fandome in 2020. Farrell's Penguin is certainly reminiscent of the classic comic book iterations of the character, to which many fans questioned whether it really was Farrell in the trailer at all. The scene in question featured the Penguin in the midst of a rather intense-looking and highly flammable car chase, a scene that has featured in a number of teasers for The Batman so far.

Now, the various clips released of The Batman's car chase are compiled by a fan to help provide a little more context to the sequence. Taking to Reddit, user thatwasagoodone5598 shares their compilation of the clips, which amounted to around 42 seconds of footage in total. Put together, the video provides a better look at the Batmobile in action, as well as teasing Farrell's performance as Penguin. Check out the video below:

Farrell recently revealed that Penguin only appears within the film for around nine minutes in total, featuring in just five or six scenes, despite the fact that his character has become one of the more anticipated appearances within the film. Fans need not fret, however, as it has been reported that the actor will be returning as both executive producer and star in a The Batman spinoff show centering on Penguin and his time as one of Gotham's more notable villains. While the show is still in its early pre-production stages, audiences can look forward to more from Farrell's character once The Batman's credits begin to roll.

While the Penguin appears to be in a rather sticky situation at the end of this dramatic car chase, it will certainly be interesting to see where he winds up after his close encounter with Batman and how this could play into the events of the upcoming spinoff. From what's been released so far, it certainly seems as though this car chase between The Penguin and Bruce Wayne could be one of the film's bigger action sequences, and with Farrell's involvement set to be rather short in nature, it's likely to be one of his bigger scenes in The Batman as well. While fans surely appreciate this condensed look, they don't have long to wait now to see the full extent of the scene.
