New The Batman posters arrive offering new looks at Robert Pattinson's titular hero and Zoë Kravitz's Catwoman and a new tagline for the film. The upcoming reboot will center on Bruce Wayne in his second year of fighting crime as Batman as he uncovers a large network of corruption in his hometown of Gotham City. He finds his battle for justice complicated even further as a serial killer known as the Riddler begins terrorizing the metropolitan city.

Pattinson leads The Batman's ensemble cast alongside Kravitz, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Gotham City Police Commissioner Jim Gordon, John Turturro as gangster Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, better known as the Penguin. The reboot of the film franchise hails from Matt Reeves, who co-wrote the script with Peter Craig and took inspiration from the comic books "Year One," "The Long Halloween" and "Ego" in an effort to better explore the character's detective skills. After multiple production and release delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, The Batman is finally set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.

With just a few months remaining until the film's arrival, new The Batman posters have arrived via Binge Watch This on Twitter. The key art offers new looks at Pattinson's titular hero and Kravitz's Catwoman, as well as the reveal of a new tagline, "I Am The Shadows." Check out the new posters below:

The new tagline for The Batman is sure to ring nicely with fans of the titular hero, given the character's penchant for philosophical speeches about his work in the night and embodying the night. Such a catchphrase was notably turned against him for The Dark Knight Rises when Tom Hardy's Bane chastised Christian Bale's incarnation for adopting the shadows while he was born in it and molded by it. The key art itself also fits nicely in tune with the marketing for The Batman seen thus far, keeping with the red and black color palette seen in previous posters and trailers for the film.

As recently teased in The Batman movie synopsis, the film will see Pattinson's incarnation of the hero as a rage-fueled crimefighter in comparison to the somewhat level-headed portrayals from Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney. Ben Affleck's take on the Dark Knight certainly saw an angrier take on the character, though it will be interesting to learn why a younger Wayne and Batman is quicker driven by their rage than anything else. Only time will tell when The Batman hits theaters on March 4, 2022.
