Hot Toys' The Batman deluxe sixth scale figure features a working light-up bat-signal. The Batman is the latest solo film venture for The Caped Crusader, directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson in the titular role. The film co-stars Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, John Turturro, Colin Farrell, and Andy Serkis. The film is a new take on Batman, which will be separate from the rest of the DCEU, instead establishing a new cinematic Bat-Verse of sorts, including two spinoff shows for HBO Max, which focus on GCPD (this one is in flux however...) and Farrell's Penguin character.

The film takes place during Batman's second year as The Dark Knight, still figuring out what kind of hero he wants to be. The costume is a bit more crude than other cinematic versions, looking more home-made than factory-made. The bat-signal in the film is also a bit more rudimentary than prior versions, closest to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy signal.

Hot Toys has unveiled their deluxe sixth scale figure for The Batman, which includes a working, light-up replica of the bat-signal from the film. In addition to the bat-signal, the figure will include a highly-detailed likeness of actor Robert Pattinson, as well as an intricately-woven costume, complete with a number of accessories. The head sculpt with come with masked and unmasked versions, as well as interchangeable lower faces to capture various expressions. Weapons included are the sticky bomb gun, batarangs, grappling hook, utility tools, handcuffs, and even a wingsuit. In addition, the figure comes with a Riddler note, as well as a background and diorama light-up staircase set. The bat-signal is USB or battery powered and features an adjustable stand for angled projection. Check out some images below:

Also teased for the figure is Batman's bat-cycle, which appears to have a light-up feature as well, although it is not part of this particular set. For those who do not want the bat-signal or diorama stairs, there is a base-model version that includes the same detailed figure and accessories, just without those added components. There is also a mid-tier deluxe version that features the detailed Batman figure and the staircase diorama, but not the bat-signal. For fans that just want the bat-signal, that option is also available, so there is a version that fits every collector's needs and budget.

Hot Toys continues their run of exceptionally detailed figures in their sixth scale line and seeing them continue to implement working lights and mechanics to their product line is great. Having backdrops and dioramas is also a great new regular addition to their figure lines, as they are a great benefit when setting up the figures for display. It's highly-likely that there will be more figures from The Batman sixth scale line, including Riddler, Catwoman, and Penguin, so fans should keep their eyes peeled for when they drop if wanting to make a complete set. The Batman is now in theaters.
