Conroy's role as Batman has been ongoing in various media for decades, even after the end of Batman: The Animated Series. The show is part of the DC Animated Universe, which includes series like Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Justice League. Conroy would continue to lend his voice to Batman for every appearance the Caped Crusader made throughout the DCAU.

Beyond his main role in the DCAU, Conroy also voiced Batman in various DC animated films, including the Batman/Superman duology, which saw him reunite with DCAU Superman voice actor Tim Daly. He also voiced Batman in Rocksteady Studios' Batman: Arkham game series. Given how much media has seen him as the voice of Batman, it's no surprise so many people see Conroy as the ultimate Batman actor.

With Conroy reprising his role for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, fans of his voice work will be able to hear him as Batman one last time. The game will mark the end of Conroy's decades-long role as Batman. However, it's clear that no matter who picks up the mantle of the Dark Knight in the future, Conroy's Batman legacy will always be remembered.
