As Joelle ‘Jojo’ Fletcher stepped into Chris Harrison’s shoes to host Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette, and fans were reminded of her own Bachelor Nation relationship. The bubbly Jojo gained fame after participating on The Bachelor season 20 and later becoming the leading lady of her own season 12. And unlike many of her counterparts, the Texas native actually ended up finding her “forever love” in former pro quarterback Jordan Rodgers. But The Bachelorette fans have often wondered why Jojo and Jordan, who are together since 2016, are still not married.

While it is hard to imagine someone other than Chris Harisson hosting The Bachelor franchise, Jojo proved that she was quite a natural filling in that role during this latest episode. During her own journey on The Bachelor, Jojo had managed to win Ben Higgins’ heart but lost to Laura Bushnell in the finale. But since winning millions of fans overnight in the process, Jojo did meet her soulmate in Jordan who she got engaged to on the finale of The Bachelorette season 12.

The real estate developer Jojo had also presented Jordan with her First Impression Rose, making him the frontrunner of The Bachelorette since day one. And while accepting Jordan’s proposal meant saying goodbye to her other choice Robby Hayes, Jojo did it tearfully, while famously declaring, “I am ready. I am so ready.” Since that moment, Jojo and Jordan's shippers have also been ready to see their favorite couple walk down the aisle. But in August 2017 - a year after their proposal - the couple still seemed to be in no rush. They then decided to renew their engagement in August 2019, and Jordan declared that their wedding was being planned for “next year.” However, come June 2020, the former Bachelorette shared an Instagram post (seen below) that took all of her followers by surprise.

In the IG post, The Bachelor star Jojo wrote, “6.13.20 ... Happy ‘What would have been Wedding Day’ to us!” She then revealed how, in the last 11 months, she and Jordan have been planning the wedding of their dreams. “But given the circumstances of 2020,” they had to make the “difficult decision to postpone” their special day. Jojo wrote to Jordan in conclusion, “Even though I don’t get to marry you todayyyyy @jrodgers11, I know it will be all more worth the wait.” And soon divulged that their much-awaited wedding day has now been pushed to 2021.

In October, Jojo revealed that despite the fact that Jordan has now given her a new ring, the couple will still keep the Neil Lane diamond ring from The Bachelorette. However, they might pass it down to their future children. While Jojo may take more time in tying the knot, she sure can be seen helping Tayshia plan her next do on The Bachelorette in the coming week.
