The Bachelorette star Ivan Hall did an entire photoshoot wearing a nice suit and holding a red rose, perfectly mimicking a poster for The Bachelor. Whenever a contestant within Bachelor Nation doesn't get to find love on the show, they typically get their hopes up to get on another season or spin-off in the franchise. First and foremost, this could mean coming back onto a new season from the same series to try to find chemistry with a new lead. In the case of contestants that really stand out, there's also the possibility of getting cast as a lead on a subsequent season of Bachelor or Bachelorette. Last but not least, there's always Bachelor In Paradise, which casts returning contestants regularly.

All things considered, there's no denying that the biggest opportunity for any Bachelor Nation alum is to eventually lead his or her own season. For girls that don't find love on The Bachelor, this means becoming a lead on a subsequent season of The Bachelorette. For guys, the opposite is true: if Bachelorette doesn't work out for them, one can hope to become a Bachelor lead in the future. But it isn't exactly easy to make this transition given that the competition is stiff and a lot of arbitrary factors come into play.

When taking into consideration The Bachelorette season 16 alone, the fans are more undecided than ever as to who they'd prefer to watch as the lead of The Bachelor in 2022. Some fans really want finalists Ivan Hall, Ben Smith, Brendan Morais, and Bennett Jordan to get a shot, but even guys that went home earlier on - such as Blake Moynes and Joe Park - are gathering fan support as well. Nonetheless, Ivan is kicking off the race by sharing a The Bachelor-inspired photoshoot where Bachelor Nation fans and producers can see just how good he'd look as a leading man. In the Instagram pictures (seen below), Ivan poses wearing a very nice suit and holding a beautiful rose. The photos look like legitimate Bachelor posters and marketing material, but Ivan made it clear that the photoshoot was "#justforfun."

It's still a little early for the production team behind The Bachelor to make a decision as to who will be the next male lead in the series. For now, Bachelor Nation is focused on Matt James and his season. Whoever ends up succeeding Matt will probably only shoot the season later in 2021, and that season won't go on the air until 2022.

It's definitely great for the fans to see that The Bachelorette star Ivan Hall is interested in becoming a lead and can even have some fun with it. A lead with a sense of humor is a must!
