Former The Bachelorette lead Clare Crawley took to social media to subtly shade Dale Moss amid their breakup and alleged cheating rumors. Clare and Dale first met last summer while she was the lead of the popular reality dating series. As soon as Dale stepped foot out of the limo, Clare knew Dale was the only man she wanted to be with. After only two weeks of filming, the 40-year-old decided to end her time on the show and leave with Dale.
Before officially leaving the competition and getting replaced by Tayshia Adams, who went on to host several seasons of The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe, Clare and Dale got engaged. After only three months together, the couple decided to call it quits. Dale was the one who announced their breakup on social media, which took Clare by surprise. However, less than a month after their split, the two were spotted together on multiple occasions. Shortly after, they both confirmed they had decided to give their relationship another try. Shortly after their reconciliation, Clare and Dale announced their second breakup.
Clare weighed in on her relationship status on Instagram while also throwing some subtle shade at her ex Dale after the two broke up. "I hate that I even have to say this [...] I’m choosing not to speak right now on the details of my relationship because at the end of the day anyone can put on an ACT or throw words together to form any narrative they want," the hairstylist said in her Instagram caption on Thursday alongside a photo of herself holding her mother's hand. The former reality star continued to explain that she's focusing on her mother, who was recently placed in hospice care and healing after her recent breast reduction surgery. Clare concluded her caption by thanking those in her life who "offer genuine unconditional love with no personal gain" and have stood by her even when the cameras were off.
Her post included a tag to Bachelor in Paradise's Abigail Heringer's Instagram account before Clare, who updated fans on her surgery, removed the tag, leading many to believe Abigail and the former Bachelorette had some beef. Earlier this week, the popular gossip account Deuxmoi had shared a blind item about a Bachelor Nation recent winner and a Bachelor in Paradise contestant who was getting the good girl edit. After Clare tagged Abigail in her post, it confirmed who the blind item was possibly about. Fans are speculating that Dale and Abigail hooked up sometime between January and February when he and Clare were on a break. However, some believe the two were hooking up while he was still dating Clare. Even though nothing has been confirmed, the tag does seem suspicious.
Clare, who shared her mother's Dementia battle, is clearly sending a message on social media in her recent Instagram post. The Bachelorette lead may not want to openly speak about her relationship status, but she is open to subtly shading her ex and the alleged woman he cheated on her with.
