Tyler Cameron is making fun of his BFF Matt James for kissing with his eyes wide open on The Bachelor season 25. Matt and Tyler have been the best of friends for a long time now, and their friendship usually includes joking around and pranking each other. With Matt now appearing on TV as the lead of The Bachelor, it was obvious that Tyler wouldn't let certain things slide, taking every opportunity to poke his best friend and have friendly fun with the whole thing. All things considered, however, Bachelor Nation should know that these two love each other and are not being mean in any way.
Thus far, Matt James has been an exemplary lead on The Bachelor. He has treated all of the women with nothing but respect, has been open to all sorts of deep conversations, and has had a great sense of humor about it all. Still, Bachelor Nation has also taken the time to have fun with the lead, just as they've had with all former leads in the series. As an example, some fans laughed about how religious they'd pretend to be in order to impress Matt when he called for a prayer during the premiere episode. Now, Matt's own BFF is having some fun with him as well.
In a tweet (seen below), The Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron shared a hilarious screenshot where Matt James was seen kissing contestant Lauren Maddox with his eyes open. It is hard to deny that the image is indeed very funny, but it should be noted that Tyler is just having fun with his BFF, so this is not a diss by any means. He wrote in the retweet: "ayyyyoooo @mattjames919 what we got going on over here." Tyler also included a laughing emoji up front. Matt then shared Tyler's tweet with a response: "Gotta make sure no one sneaking up on us! When your eyes are closed.. ANYTHING can happen! It's for both of our protection." Matt also included a few laughing emoji.
There is no way around it: these two best friends are going to keep having a lot of fun throughout the entire duration of The Bachelor season 25. The fans are still hoping that Tyler Cameron could make a surprise cameo in the season given how often he and Matt James hang out in real life. However, considering that the entire season was filmed under COVID-19 guidelines, it is unlikely that an outsider will be allowed to come in to interact with everyone else. Or perhaps he will make an appearance but stay far away enough from the lead and the contestants.
This is yet another hilarious chapter in the famous Matt James and Tyler Cameron bromance. And Bachelor Nation is loving these candid interactions between the two men.
