Zach, a 26-year-old tech executive, who currently lives in Austin, Texas, was impressed by Greer's limo entrance. Greer, a 24-year-old medical sales representative from Houston, Texas, is currently living in New York. She brought Zach a cup of coffee to help him get through the long first night. During their one-on-one conversation, she told him that her parents and both sets of grandparents are still together, and she is looking for a traditional, long-lasting love.
Greer also said that she dreams of living in Austin in the future, which is Zach's current home. On The Bachelor premiere, Greer and Zach had an instant connection, and shared a long first kiss, which led to him giving her the rose later in the night. Unfortunately, Greer's impressive first night on The Bachelor was marred by a scandal which broke the very next day. She apologized for comments she made in 2016, in which she defended blackface. Since Greer's mistake was uncovered after filming, it is unclear if Zach was aware of it. As her Bachelor journey continues, the big question is how far Greer will make it in the competition.
Greer Blitzer Does Not Receive Zach Shallcross' Final Rose
According to Reality Steve, Greer made to The Bachelor Top 6 before being eliminated right before the hometown dates. Although Greer made a great first impression on Zach, she did not receive his final rose. Greer participated in two group dates, including one in which the women had to perform a puppet show and one where they played tackle football. Greer also received roses after group dates in the Bahamas and Estonia. Greer was eventually eliminated in Budapest, Hungary.
Does Greer Blitzer Ever Go On A One-On-One Date With Zach?
Greer is not listed by Reality Steve for any one-on-one dates. He reported that Zach and the women traveled to London, but something happened there that changed the landscape of The Bachelor season 27. However, he is not yet sure what it was. He was told that production had no control over it, and that they were scrambling to figure out what to do. Reality Steve said that it was not bad, but it was unplanned and had a significant impact on the production of the show.
While they were in London, Gabi Elnicki went on the first one-on-one date, but then all the other dates were canceled. Perhaps Greer was supposed to have a one-on-one date in London before things changed. Although Zach and Greer had a strong night one connection, their chemistry seems to have fizzled as the season progressed. Zach had said that he gave Greer the first impression rose because she made him feel calm on night one, so perhaps their relationship became one of great friendship rather than romance. Greer's journey should certainly be interesting on The Bachelor.
