The Nemacolin Resort CEO revealed that the hotel staff found a used condom during Matt James' season of The Bachelor. There's no denying that Matt's season has been a wild ride so far. The cast is filled with great women, but some of them have pretty over-the-top personalities that make for great TV. Still, only two episodes in, nothing that steamy has happened as of yet. The dates have been mostly PG at this point, having a bit of a sense of humor and making room for these people to open up on a deeper level.
Nonetheless, judging from past seasons of The Bachelor, things typically do get pretty heated up on the show. Most times, the fans expect those things to happen during overnight stays or in the Fantasy Suite episodes, but it is not unprecedented for the leads and the contestants to take things up a few notches and get creative with the surroundings that they have. With that said, the season 25 cast members were still following COVID-19 guidelines while filming the show, so there was only so much that they could do... or at least in theory, that is.
Now, none other than the CEO of the Nemacolin Resort is sharing a few behind-the-scenes details that the hotel staff stumbled upon while The Bachelor was filming there. As reported by Page Six, Nemacolin CEO Maggie Hardy Knox revealed, "We actually found a used condom in the tree branch." She added that while she couldn't spoil any details about the show, she could guarantee that "hair will be pulled and weaves will fly" during Matt James' season. Bachelor Nation loves drama, so hearing about hair-pulling and weave-snatching is very entertaining. When it comes to the used condom, however, it should be noted that this statement doesn't guarantee that Matt and a contestant were getting intimate in the woods. There was an entire production crew filming the show, and the resort has plenty of staff members working there. Thus, it's always possible that this had nothing to Matt and his group of women.
Still, it would be crazy if The Bachelor season 25 actually made reference to Matt James and one of the contestants getting intimate somewhere outdoors. Even if this intimate moment turns out to be true, it's unlikely that it was caught on camera. Nonetheless, this series is no stranger to turning off-camera moments into big storylines, so it is possible that this could be made official on the show in some capacity.
The tea that was spilled is certainly hot, but the fans will have to keep tuning in to find out if this story will turn out to be true - at least as far as Matt James and his co-stars are concerned.
