Much like Batman vs. Superman had a few scenes shot early, before principal photography was set to begin, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is also getting a head start on a certain location shot. Recent reports put writer and director Joss Whedon alongside cast members Jeremy Renner and Paul Bettany visiting London's Shepperton Studios for meetings and costume tests in preparation for the beginning of shooting this March but with a large amount of shooting taking place in various locations around the world, a part of The Avengers 2 will be filmed tomorrow.

Specifically Whedon and co. will be in Johannesburg, South Africa, using the city to represent itself for the first 10 minute of the film. We don't yet know who is involved in the scenes, but previous rumors hinted that the intro of The Avengers 2 might focus on one of the film's secondary villains and newcomers Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

The news comes from SA Breaking News who warn local residents to be prepared for road closures during the filming. And as fans who closely followed any of the Marvel movie productions to date know, that means we can expect a pile of unofficial set photos to begin hitting online. Previous rumors and hopeful speculation had fans possibly seeing the fictional Marvel Comics nation of Wakanda, home of Black Panther, finally being introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but as we now know, the South African shoot is using real-life locations to represent just that.

Piecing together more recent reports, we have more evidence to suggest that if the South African shoot is the first 10 minutes of the film, than we may see German actor Thomas Kretschmann on location, suited up as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker.  Some rumors had siblings Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) working with him at the start of the film so we might get our first look at them as well before they join The Avengers.

Adding to our theory, the report explains that Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and Scarlett Johansson will not be present. Could Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye be there on a mission? Is that why he was meeting with Joss Whedon last week?

We also know that Age of Ultron will be shooting at locations in Italy and Korea, the former of which will have scenes in and around Northern Italy’s Fort Bard - which looks very suitable for scenes involving von Strucker but we may find out more tomorrow when shooting begins.

The majority of principal photography will take place on stages and sets at Shepperton in London, where Marvel Studios previously shot Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy - and where Disney will shoot Star Wars: Episode 7 after The Avengers 2, beginning in May.
