Just yesterday we got a look at a badass new image (shown above) from the upcoming movie version of The A-Team, which stars Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Bradley Cooper as Face, Sharlto Copley as Murdock and Quinton Jackson as B.A. Baracus. The image came courtesy of The LA Times and today comes a whole batch of new photos from the movie, which I guess were meant to go along with the one from yesterday, but just arrived a little later altogether.
Based on the 1980s TV series of the same name, The A-Team will follow a team of Iraq war operatives (updated from Vietnam veterans) who escape from prison after they were framed for a crime they didn't commit. Now they're on a mission to clear they're name, undoubtedly kicking butts and taking names in the process. It's directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin' Aces, Narc) and written by Michael Brandt, Derek Haas and Skip Woods.
Here are the five new A-Team images to add the awesome one shown above, courtesy of Latino Review (click for super high-res versions - thanks to /Film):
Liam Neeson as Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith
Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck
Jessica Biel as Lt. Sosa
Neeson as 'Hannibal' and Quinton Jackson as B.A. Baracus
Cooper as 'Face' and Neeson as 'Hannibal
I'm most definitely on the side of the fence that thinks this film looks like an entertaining action flick that's well cast and visually slick. I know there are people out there who disagree and don't like that they're changing a lot of the things from the original show - but that's the great thing about the movies: the pure subjectivity of them.
What do you think of the latest images released for The A-Team? Look good to you so far? Or is it a disgrace to the original show? Let us know in the comments below.
The A-Team will be released on June 11th this year in the U.S., and on July 30th in the UK.
