He was lucky when Eric, Hyde, and Kelso found him. It worked out for them too. Indeed, he was the missing piece of the group. Well, they might regret saving him now. Turns out Fez is one crazy dude. His friends even point that out.

    Without Fez, That '70s Show isn't the same. He completes the gang and the show. Fez is a good and loyal friend. He often stands up for the gang. He's sweet, innocent, and a bit naive. Regardless, he's a caring friend that's always there for them. They can depend on him to help them out. However, his friends overlook his many flaws. As noted, his friends often point out that he's weird and crazy. He does a lot of things that most people might find odd. In fact, he's lucky his friends were cool with it. Kitty and Fez have a close relationship. She understands him better than most. However, in the last season, they get into a huge fight. Kitty thinks he needs to stop with the constant dating and over-abundance of relationships. Instead, he yells at her that she's not his mother. Kitty is only looking out for him and trying to protect him. She really is the closest thing he has to a mother in the U.S.

He hides in the background while they are together. His friends often catch him and kick him out. Well, Kelso actually doesn't mind if Fez watches. Fez can be very self-centered at times and usually needs to be in the spotlight with his friends.

To be fair, Kelso forgot the keys in the car. Plus, he actually took it without permission. Fez and Hyde later stash the car in Red's garage. Fez wasn't exactly being a good friend to Kelso and it could have ended really badly for everyone involved.

    At one point, Fez goes to jail for vandalizing the water tower. He gets out but has to leave the country. They found out his Visa expires with graduation. He gets together with Eric's sister Laurie but they do way more. In fact, Laurie marries Fez so he can stay. Moments before Eric leaves for Madison, Fez and Laurie tell Red, which causes Red to have a heart attack. Not only does Red have a heart attack but Eric has to stay. This all happens because of Fez trying to stay in the country. Later, he moves in with The Foreman's and doesn't seem to care he gave Red a heart attack.

    Fez seems to not understand the basic rules of dating. There are some women he just can't go after. For instance, his high school English teacher. Even when the odds are against him he still tries. He does get to tear up the dance floor and have a good time. Regardless, he needs to learn that teachers are off limits. In fact, Fez needs to learn that a lot of people are off-limits. He's not very good at keeping to himself.

    Fez struggles with flirting with women. In fact, he struggles with being around them and talking to them. He can't hide that strange and overbearing side to him. Kelso tries to make Fez look good but there's only one problem. Fez himself. Fez tries to show off his shooting skills and shoots an innocent rabbit.     Fez spends most of his time in Eric's basement with his friends. In fact, they all pretty much live there at one time. However, Fez actually lives with his host parents for the first few seasons. He still lives with them and mentions them from time to time. It's possible they just gave up trying to control him. It would definitely be difficult to keep Fez in line all the time.

She's nicer to Eric and his friends. At the same time, Fez's green card expires and has to go back home. Fez and Laurie end up together and marry. Not only does he spend time with Eric's sister but he marries her to stay in the country. In addition, Fez ends up moving in and makes life miserable for Red.

    Clearly, Fez is gullible and naive. In fact, he often believes anything his friends tell him. In particular, he seems to listen to Hyde blindly. This is actually a bad idea.     At one point, Bob forces Donna to go to an all-girls school. Initially, Eric is strongly against the idea. That is, until he sees Donna in her uniform. He's not the only one who likes it.     Fez is an important part of the gang. They truly enjoy having him as a friend. He's the last one to join but fits right in. However, his friends can't pronounce his actual name. Instead of learning his name they come up with one. They actually call him Foreign Exchange Student, which they shorten to Fes. Over time, the name transforms into Fez. It would have been nice if his friends could pronounce his actual name. He's such a good friend but they didn't take the time to learn his name.

However, this is slightly different from that. Fez often hides in Donna's closest and spies on her changing and being close to Eric. Later, he even hides under Donna's bed when Jackie moves in. Donna kicks him out but he promises not to make too many sounds. Donna and Jackie seem to let this slide. However, it's strange that he hides out in the closet and under their beds.
