Warning! Spoilers for X-Men: Red #5 by Marvel Comics

In case readers needed any proof that Thanos' grand-uncle was more terrifying and powerful than the Mad Titan himself, Uranos the Undying just proved that to be the case - without the need of Infinity Stones. In X-Men: Red #5 by Marvel Comics, the mutant's perspective of Uranos' attack on Arakko is revealed, as the maniacal Eternal leaves massive destruction in his wake in just a single hour. Moreover, the explosive outburst shows that next to Thanos, Uranos is even deadlier.

Uranos the Undying is the deadliest ancestor of Thanos, as he was responsible for the Eternals Civil War as his genocidal ways led to him being imprisoned for hundreds of thousands of years. Uranos wanted to eliminate all life that wasn't Eternal, going far beyond the Celestial's mission to take out excess deviation on Earth. However, with Druig becoming the Prime-Eternal, he gave Uranos one hour to prove how much damage he could cause, with the results being catastrophic, as Thanos' grand-uncle didn't need Infinity Stones to prove how much death he could amass in such a short time.

While Uranos' destruction was highlighted in the A.X.E.: Judgment Day #1 by Marvel Comics, the true extent of the damage he occurred on Arakko is revealed in X-Men: Red #5 by AL Ewing, Stefano Caselli, Federico Blee, and VC's Ariana Maher. Thanos' grand-uncle's army takes on most of Arakko's defenses, as Uranos tells Marvel's mutants, who are considered excess deviation, that "all non-Eternal life must end. Uranos immediately takes out the most powerful mutant in Legion, drives his fist through the chest of Magneto, and withstands Cable's most powerful weapon. Without Infinity Stones, Uranos stands above the ashes of the mutants on Arakko, decimating them in just an hour.

Thanos Destroys The X-Men - X-Men Red #4

What's most impressive about Uranos' defeat of the X-Men on Arrako is that he barely commits any of his forces in the fight, as an infographic reveals it only took him 00.003% of his army to take down more than 11,000 mutants. Unlike Thanos, Uranos the Undying doesn't need Infinity Stones to unleash his full power. He barely flinches in taking down some of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe. Unfortunately, things don't bode well for the mutant's upcoming chances against Uranos, considering the massive damage he did without ever fully unleashing his army in a limited amount of time.

The Eternals locked away Uranos because of his incredibly dangerous powers seen in his decimation of Arakko. Considering he was only operating at a small capacity if Thanos' grand-uncle is ever fully unleashed, the X-Men and the entire Marvel Universe might not have a solution to stopping him. Uranos might be the most terrifying threat Marvel heroes have ever faced - even without Infinity Stones helping him like they have Thanos.
