Warning! Spoilers for Eternals #10 by Marvel Comics

The Eternals greatest secret has been exposed, as Thanos just learned the shocking truth behind his parents still being alive. In Eternals #10 by Marvel Comics, Thanos decides to get brutal revenge on his parents for trying to kill and abandon him, as he kills them multiple times in his search for answers on how to rebuild his body. However, Thanos' parents refuse to provide him with his desired answers in their return despite the torture.

Thanos is the son of the Mentor and Sui-San and the product of the Eternals learning if they should procreate. The lover's first child, Eros, seemed to prove Eternals could create life themselves. However, their second child, Thanos, born with the Deviant Gene, completely shut down the idea the ancient race should create life. Thanos would murder his parents, and after being resurrected, Mentor tells the Eternals they should never procreate. Mentor and Sui-San were exiled, as the former was notified every time Thanos killed someone as a punishment for creating the murderous Eternal. Now, Thanos learns the truth behind their exile and makes his parents pay following their return.

In Eternals #10 from Marvel Comics by Kieron Gillen, Esad Ribic, Matthew Wilson, and VC's Clayton Cowles, Thanos learns that his parents know the secret to retun his body to its usual self and that he can see them to learn more. Thanos becomes enraged after meeting Mentor, continually killing him. Druig reveals the Mad Titan has also killed his mother five times as Thanos doesn't take the news about his parents well. Thanos is reminded that his parents will live as long as Earth exists, leading him to reunite his parents from isolation. Thanos tries to threaten Mentor and Sui-San by telling them he will kill thousands of innocent lives in a town on Earth if they don't give him the answers he seeks. They respond by saying their hate means they refuse to help Thanos gain more power, regardless of the cost.

Thanos Parents Avengers

While Thanos wants answers from his parents, he gets extreme pleasure out of killing them and resurrecting them over and over again just to kill them again. After all, his mother tried to kill him after seeing his monstrous form - as he's always been told he's a black mark on the Eternals history. So Thanos can finally get revenge by killing them as many times as he desires - which will be a lot of times.

Thanos has been waiting for the chance to get revenge on his parents, so there's little surprise he's making the most of the Eternals resurrection protocols to kill them as many times as he sees necessary. It's a brutal fate for Thanos' parents, who have already paid an extreme price for his creation, but they remain undeterred despite the torture inflicted by their evil son. Still, Thanos learning of their return has to be bad news for the rest of the Marvel Universe. Eternals #10 by Marvel Comics is in comic book stores now.
