With the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos has pulled some incredibly inventive kills, but perhaps none were crazier than when the Mad Titan turned Nova into LEGO bricks. In the Infinity Gauntlet crossover from Marvel Comics, Thanos used the Infinity Stones in tandem to break the hero into hundreds of pieces of LEGO. Unfortunately, Richard Rider's attempt to stop him went awry as the supervillain showed the true power of his greatest weapon in one of the most creative ways.

Few Marvel Comics villains have used such incredible powers to kill heroes in the most brutal and creative fashions, as when Thanos acquired all six Infinity Stones, he showed his prowess with the god-like power. From turning Wolverine's bones into rubber, trapping Cyclop's head and suffocating him in a clear block, and destroying Quasar and the Quantum Bands, Thanos really explored what the Infinity Gauntlet could do. The Mad Titan pulled off similar moves in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he used the Reality Stone and turned Mantis into ribbons and Drax into broken stones. However, his coolest kill came against Nova, who Thanos managed to turn into LEGO pieces.

In Infinity Gauntlet #4 by Jim Starlin, George Perez, Ron Lim, Josef Rubinstein, Bruce N. Solotoff, Max Scheele, Ian Laughlin, and Jack Morelli from Marvel Comics, Earth's Mightiest heroes try to stop Thanos. Unfortunately, the supervillain has acquired the Infinity Stones for the Infinity Gauntlet and is at full power. However, due to Mephisto's suggestion, he doesn't use all the gems' power, instead toying with the heroes as they send a handful of powerful attacks at him. Thanos kills She-Hulk and Namor by trapping them in a plant-like growth. After melting Thor's hammer and freezing the hero, Nova attempts to lunge at Thanos and stop him from breaking the God of Thunder. However, the Mad Titan turns him into "toy blocks" just like LEGO and kills Nova in one fell swoop.

Thanos Infinity Gauntlet Marvel Comics

Thanks to the Infinity Gauntlet, Nova's human form becomes hundreds of colorful blocks as the LEGO-like pieces fall to the ground after the attack. In proper supervillain form, Thanos walks across the bricks like they are nothing. With Nova stopped, Thanos breaks Thor, who has been turned into glass, into hundreds of pieces.

Taking on Thanos was always an uphill battle for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. While they would eventually earn the victory and the snapped and defeated would return, his massacre in the Infinity Gauntlet battle is among his deadliest moments ever. The Mad Titan easily turned heroes into different forms and broke them with a series of creative uses of the Infinity Stones and Gauntlet. Ultimately, turning Nova into LEGO was one of his coolest kills ever, as it showed the kind of power Thanos wielded with the great cosmic weapon.
