Screen Rant is proud to debut an exclusive clip from Terrifier 2, which will hit theaters on October 6, 2022. Written and directed by Damien Leone, Terrifier 2 follows up the cult horror hit Terrifier, which premiered in 2016 and won over scores of horror fans, thanks to David Howard Thornton's villainous performance as Art the Clown. In Terrifier 2, Thornton is back as the unstoppable, homicidal harlequin, and he's joined by Lauren LaVera as Sienna, Elliott Fullam as Jonathan, and Sarah Voight as Barbara - a family victimized by Art the Clown.

Terrifier 2 ups the horror ante when, a year after the events of Terrifier, Art the Clown is resurrected by a new demonic being who takes the form of a young girl. Art immediately mounts a brutal new killing spree in the town of Miles County, but his special target is Sienna, a teenage girl who cosplays as an angel on Halloween night. Of course, Terrifier 2 is a splatterfest to the extreme, with Art's murders more bloody, brutal, and creative than ever. Art also has the ability to stalk his victims through their dreams, and his special enmity is reserved for Sienna, the one person who has the ability to fight Art the Clown on his own terms and stop the homicidal monster once and for all.

In Screen Rant's exclusive clip from Terrifier 2, Art the Clown invades Sienna's dreams, plunging her into a creepy and grotesque version of a kids' show, complete with Art the Clown cereal and Sienna dressed as a cowgirl. The unnerving scene is also tinged with Terrifier 2's unique brand of surreal comedy as Art the Clown makes his presence felt to Sienna. You can watch the clip below:

Terrifier 2 makes a strong case for Art the Clown as a new horror icon after his crowd-pleasing debut in 2016's Terrifier. The sequel also benefits from the charismatic lead performance of Lauren LaVera as Sienna, who breaks horror movies' Final Girl mode and becomes the true heroic foil to Art the Clown's madness. In addition, Terrifier 2 boasts a couple of familiar faces who cameo in the film. Cobra Kai's Griffin Santopietro, who plays Anthony LaRusso, the son of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), appears in Terrifier 2. So does All Elite Wrestling superstar Chris Jericho, whose status as a diehard fan of the original Terrifier garnered the pro wrestling icon a small role in Terrifier 2.

Terrifier 2's theatrical release begins on October 6, 2022. The perfect blood-soaked horror movie for the Halloween season, Terrifier 2 is an old-school, brutal slasher film that harkens back to Halloween and Friday the 13th that's bound to please horror aficionados old and new.

Terrifier 2 premieres in theaters on October 6th thanks to Cinedigm in partnership with Iconic Events.
