Chris Pratt's Navy SEAL character, James Reece, is out for revenge in the newest trailer for The Terminal ListBased on the best-selling Jack Carr novel of the same name, The Terminal List is an upcoming action thriller series set to release on Prime Video on July 1. The show, which is executive produced by Pratt, tells the story of a Navy SEAL who attempts to uncover a far-reaching government conspiracy after a mission goes horribly wrong and his entire team is killed in an ambush.

An initial teaser for The Terminal List released last month provided a first look at Pratt's character and showed off some of what is in store for audiences when the show does eventually release. The series will consist of 8 episodes, with the first teaser confirming that in addition to a central mystery regarding the people responsible for Reece's team's death, The Terminal List will feature plenty of action. In addition to Pratt, The Terminal List stars Jared Shaw, Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Jai Courtney, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, and Jeanne Tripplehorn. The show also features Antoine Fuqua, best known for directing Training Day and his work on The Equalizer films with Denzel Washington, as director for one episode.

The new trailer for The Terminal List makes clear that Reece's whole mission was a setup, with Reece setting out to find the parties responsible by any means necessary. The trailer also shows off more of the supporting cast, including Keough's Lauren Reece, James' wife, and Constance Wu's Katie Buranek, a government agent who appears to want to help Reece uncover the truth. While still keeping plenty of mystery alive for when the show drops next month, the latest trailer for The Terminal List shows off just how determined Reece will be in his quest for revenge and the violent lengths he will go to in order to get it.

The Terminal List marks Pratt's second major collaboration with Prime Video after last year's The Tomorrow War, but his character this time around is much more serious and the overall tone of this new project seems to be much darker and more grounded. It remains to be seen how the show will fare with audiences and critics, but Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, another Prime Video series dealing with similar subject matter, has been one of the streamer's stronger offerings thus far. Audiences don't have much longer to wait in order to find out, with the Terminal List premiere now less than a month away.
