Teresa and Joe Giudice accused each other of cheating during their first interview together on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The anticipated tell-all special did not disappoint as bombshells were dropped about the two reality star’s futures.
After months behind bars, Joe was sent back to his home country of Italy earlier this month. In 2013, both Joe and Teresa were indicted for filing a false bankruptcy report, trying to hide their earnings, which was no simple feat. Joe had other charges brought against him as well, also being indicted for failing to file tax returns between 2004 and 2008. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months behind bars and was the first to leave federal prison after only having served 11 months. Upon her release, Joe reported immediately to the federal prison to start serving his three-year sentence.
Most recently, the two did an update interview with the host of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that left fans of the hit show sitting on the edge of their seats. In the October 27 airing of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, the once in love couple did not hold back punches when it came to discussing their relationship. During the interview (via Us Weekly), Andy Cohen asked Teresa if she thought her husband had been faithful to her while she was in prison, and she answered "no."
Joe had been photographed many times with other women, but the 47-year-old pointed out that his wife had also been photographed with other men. When Cohen brought up bumping into Teresa on the beach with a mystery man, Joe was caught off guard, asking at which beach the incident took place. The Bravo host then asked Joe if he felt Teresa had been faithful to him, to which he replied, “I don’t think she was.” Cohen also asked the two if they were still in love with one another, and they both answered that when they saw one another in prison uniforms, they felt nothing toward each other. Teresa acknowledged that they are both different people now and have grown apart, making her nervous for their reunion in Italy that is set for early November.
While watching the tell-all, fans were not surprised that the once happy couple talked as if their relationship was already over. Teresa said she had already explained to their four children that it would be very hard to live apart and keep a connection, confirming that she would not uproot her children and move to Italy. It is possible that once the two see each other, old feelings could flare up, but Cohen and fans alike are doubtful.
