Teresa Giudice isn’t leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey amid her husband’s drama because she says she's the "OG" of the show. The third installment of the franchise aired back in 2009 with original cast members Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, and Danielle Staub. The show launched Teresa’s career due to the famous table flip seen around the world.

The mother of four has been living the high life ever since her husband was put in jail three years ago. In 2013, both Joe and Teresa were indicted for filing a false bankruptcy report, trying to hide their wealth. Joe had other charges brought against him as well, also being indicted for failing to file tax returns between 2004 and 2008. While both were found guilty, it seemed to many that Teresa paid a high price and was sentenced to 15 months behind bars. Upon her release, Joe was to report directly to the federal prison to start his time. Earlier this month Joe was deported back to Italy as the family awaits the outcome of the appeal.

While some of the most popular housewives decided to make a move and leave their hit show, Giudice announced she had no intention of leaving her franchise, even though her husband will now live in Italy. At the Ultimate Women’s Expo in New Jersey, Us Weekly reported that the mother of four said she was the original O.G. of the Bravo show. On November 3, the reality star said that if she were to leave, she was not sure the show would make it without her, saying, “It’s kind of all about me, unfortunately.”  The reality star's comments did not surprise fans, as Giudice has had a love affair with the limelight since day one.

Giudice told her listeners that, at first, she did not agree to star on the show right away and that it took her 11 months to agree to it. That said, the Standing Strong author said that she never thought twice about agreeing to sign on the dotted line after she made her final decision - which explains why she's been the only New Jersey housewife to be a prime member for all ten seasons. The 47-year-old said that a lot of good had come from starring on the show and that she would continue to ride the “wave” until she saw fit.

Even though there is a lot of turmoil within her personal life, Giudice has continued to say that she will take it one day at a time. Back during the taping of the season 9 reunion, the Bravo personality announced that she would indeed divorce her husband if he were to be deported. The couple has been married for twenty years and shares four daughters together; the couple only spoke about the marriage with Andy Cohen in their tell-all and basically confirmed that they would be separating once the dust settles between them.
