If there is one thing that Marvel Comics fans have gotten used to, it is the friendships between the characters. When a friendship goes to the next level, it creates a bromance and there is simply nothing that compares to a legendary bromance in comic books. These heroes don't just team up in battles, but they chill together when they aren't fighting villains.

The connection between these two superheroes makes the comic stories a lot more personal and offers emotional depth that helps the fans relate better to the heroes, and in some cases villains. Sometimes these bros will fight and then just want to hang out and play video games later, and that is okay, because that is what bromances are all about.

Beast And Wonder Man

Beast and Wonder Man might be one of the most beloved bromances in Marvel Comics history. However, this friendship falls below many others because they have not connected in a very long time. Beast lives in Krakoa today with little room for friends, much less a bromance. At one time, the two were in the Avengers and had one of the best relationships of anyone on the team.

While Beast is an X-Men hero that fans mostly hate now, he was a beloved character in his Avengers days, and he showed a lot of his charisma when hanging out with Simon Williams. It was Wonder Man who helped Beast finally have fun, despite years of discrimination.

Spider-Man And Deadpool

In one of the strangest friendships in Marvel Comics, Spider-Man and Deadpool have developed a relationship over the years. Spider-Man has teamed up with almost everyone in Marvel thanks to his long-running Marvel Team-Up title, but his teaming with Deadpool was so popular that it warranted its own comic series.

This is a strange bromance as well, with the two possessing opposing morals. Spider-Man saves people and makes funny quips. Deadpool kills people and is just as funny, but in a wall-breaking manner. Deadpool also might be the only person to drive Spider-Man crazy, mirroring what other heroes think about working with the Wall-Crawler.

Cable And Deadpool

While Deadpool and Spider-Man are opposites that make for one of Marvel's fun bromances, the relationship between Deadpool and Cable is very different. Cable is just as ready to end someone's life as Deadpool is, but he has none of the humor of the Merc with a Mouth, and that makes them a complicated and highly entertaining duo.

These two have fought as much as they have teamed up, and it is Deadpool who wants to be friends with Cable more than Nate ever wanted to be with him. The saying that opposites attract plays out here and these heroes remain one of Marvel's best duos, even if they don't always get along.

Wolverine And Nightcrawler

Wolverine and Nightcrawler are not just the X-Men's all-time best bromance, but it might be one of the best friendships in all of Marvel Comics. This is lower than other bromances because this is more about being friends than about being bros. These two men really completed each other for years.

Nightcrawler was a moral man who looked like a monster and was consumed by self-imposed guilt. Wolverine was a monster that looked like a man and had no problem ending a life to reach his goals. Together, they helped each other find their good sides and what made them great heroes. Whether drinking beer, playing poker, or talking life, these two had a genuine friendship.

Spider-Man And Human Torch

One of the first bromances in Marvel Comics started when Spider-Man tried to join the Fantastic Four. Peter Parker was a teenager who was trying to learn how to be a hero. Johnny Storm was a hotshot teenager, but someone who proved himself time and time again with the Fantastic Four.

They grew up together, and when one needed a friend to talk to, they had no better person to turn. Johnny helped Peter deal with life's problems and Peter helped straighten Johnny out when his head got a little too big. They made each other better heroes and this was a bromance built on talking to each other more than it was fighting together.

Iron Man And War Machine

Iron Man and War Machine didn't start off as a bromance, but they moved there over time. In the beginning, the two men were allies and James Rhodes worked for Tony Stark. Eventually, Tony had to stop down as Iron Man to deal with personal problems and Rhodes took over the role.

After Tony returned, he gave Rhodes new armor and War Machine was born. By this time, Iron Man and War Machine developed their bromance, and it was important for Tony as James was the only person who would tell him as it is, without holding back.

Black-Ant And Taskmaster

Not only do superheroes have bromances, but there are some in the supervillain community as well. The best supervillain bromance in Marvel Comics today is Taskmaster and Black-Ant.  The two men began working together during Secret Empire, but the best was yet to come.

Taskmaster and Black-Ant are villains and mercenaries for hire, but when they are together, they are the most interesting bromance in Marvel Comics. Whether they trying to avoid a fight or just making quips and completing whatever mission they were hired for, they are more entertaining than most of the heroes they battle.

Nova And Star-Lord

Nova and Star-Lord have the perfect bromance because they are the best of friends and will do anything for each other, even if it means dying. They have also been through the most violent of wars and stood side-by-side through the worst of times. They are both leaders and have no problem stepping aside for the other when they know it is for the best.

This is also not something that their loved ones understand. When Peter Quill died to save the world, Gamora blamed Nova. Nova took it harder than she did, and was incredibly happy when Peter returned. The two also have the ability to just sit around and enjoy each other's company, as the best of friends do.

Falcon And Winter Soldier

The best superhero bromances have two people who are friends who hang out and do things together, battle villains together, and also have plenty of time to squabble like brothers. That fits Falcon and the Winter Soldier to a tee.

This duo didn't start out as friends, but both share the common trait of working with Captain America as sidekicks for years. When Winter Soldier returned and became a good guy again, Bucky and Sam became friends and share a bromance like nothing they had with their mentor Captain America. The only thing that keeps them from being the best is the length of time they have known each other.

Luke Cage And Iron Fist

The one thing that keeps Luke Cage and Iron Fist solidly as the number one bromance in Marvel Comics is the fact they have been together for so long. They hit it big in the 70s with their Power Man and Iron Fist comic book series, which led to Heroes for Hire.

From that point on, the two men were forever connected. Even when Power Man moved on to become Luke Cage and got married with a kid, he and Danny Rand were still the best of friends, there for each other. Luke even named his daughter Danielle, and if one man ever needs help, the other will come running, the mark of a true friend.
