Temptation Island season 1 aired in 2019, and there's curiosity surrounding what Evan Smith and Kaci Campbell have been up to since they broke up, and whether Evan is still engaged to Morgan Lolar. Evan and Kaci went on Temptation Island with plenty of confidence as high school sweethearts who had never dated anyone else. However, something made Evan scared of committing.
Once Evan and Kaci got to Temptation Island and faced a cast of beautiful singletons, a few things immediately changed for Evan. He met Morgan, who had an instant crush on him and got involved with her. Evan did try to resist the romance for some time, but he ultimately didn't have it in him to stay loyal. To make matters worse, Evan described his feelings as something profound that he had never felt before, which meant that this wasn't just a silly infatuation for him. By the end of the season, Evan officially broke up with Kaci and got engaged to Morgan.
Are Temptation Island's Morgan and Evan Still Together?
Unfortunately, Evan Smith and Morgan Lolar are no longer together as of 2021. Morgan broke the news exclusively to Us Weekly in April 2020, claiming she had to support Evan financially the entire time they were together. Morgan also alleged that he cheated on her. Out of that situation, Morgan and Kaci started exchanging messages and bonded over Evan's behavior.
At this point, Evan, Morgan, and Kaci appear to be single. Kaci seems to be in a great place right now, and she has even been featured on special Temptation Island featurettes. On the other hand, Evan seems to be on a downward trajectory in his reality TV career, at least as far as this show is concerned. He hasn't had a meaningful social media presence since 2021 and filed a lawsuit against the USA Network in March 2021. However, Morgan is thriving in her modeling career, and Kaci is a podcast host and influencer.
When Will Temptation Island Return?
Temptation Island season 5 returns with more explosive couples worthy of Evan, Kaci, and Morgan's fame on June 14 at 9 p.m. on the USA Network. However, episodes will be available on Peacock the next day. The season features four new couples and previous seasons' expected twists and turns. Evan, Kaci, and Morgan made Temptation Island and reality TV history. Their journeys on the show are still worth watching, even after knowing what the outcome turned out to be. Hopefully, the new cast is up to the challenge of matching previous iconic love triangles like this one.
