Chelsea Orcutt and Thomas Gipson had an exciting journey on Temptation Island, hosted by Mark L. Walberg, but the couple surprised everyone by staying together after season 3. The pair initially came to the island to work on the trust issues in their relationship. Chelsea was frustrated by Thomas' flirty ways, while Thomas felt his girlfriend should have more faith in him. While they came to the island with clear rules in place, they each stepped out of the boundaries they set for their relationship. It was assumed that they'd separate at the finale bonfire, and leave the island single.

When Chelsea saw Thomas flirting with other women, namely Sophia Perez, during his bonfire clips, she decided to pursue a relationship with Blake Eyres, who was single on the island. As her relationship with Blake progressed, and a kiss was shared, Thomas retaliated by sharing a kiss with Sophia. Although Thomas and Chelsea broke the rules they set for each other, they surprisingly decided to stay together at the final bonfire. During the reunion episode, Chelsea and Thomas were still in a relationship, though they admitted they were struggling to work through their trust issues. However, the reunion aired years ago.

Thankfully, the answer seems to be no. The couple looks happier than ever. Since the show ended, Chelsea has gone live on Instagram a few times, to share more about her experience on the series. Thomas has also been open about their relationship. He's published numerous stories of himself and Chelsea enjoying their life in Los Angeles, and even poked fun at the accusations that his relationship with Chelsea is fake. While Thomas seems inclined to joke about the hate the couple is receiving online, Chelsea is committed to clearing the air about what went down on Temptation Island.

Chelsea Reaffirmed Her Relationship With Thomas After Temptation Island

Chelsea first cleared the air back in 2021, saying, "The producers gave us a lot of sh*t about that, basically, about not giving them enough. We had producers in our ears, and there's a lot of pressure and alcohol." Chelsea also clapped back at the hate she received online, claiming she and Thomas came in with the best intentions and that the show wasn't indicative of their natural lives. "I think it's hard when people judge you based on a reality show," she said. "We need to give you guys something to work with. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a show."

After Temptation Island, the couple further dived into their difficult time on the show. They claimed the bonfire clips were brutal, as they didn't show the other person upset or struggling. Therefore, Thomas and Chelsea thought their partner was doing fine, contributing to their behavior. The couple also confirmed they weren't thinking about marriage or kids, but that could have changed in the past year. They're focused on their relationship and making sure they're suitable for each other before moving forward. Thomas also confirmed he and Sophia are still friends and keep in touch.

Thomas and Chelsea seem to thrive despite their challenging experience on Temptation Island. As one of the few couples who have managed to stay together after the show, hopefully, they are still doing well. Luckily, there will be a new batch of troubled relationships soon, as Temptation Island season 5 airs in June 2023.

Temptation Island season 5 airs Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on USA beginning on June 14.
