In contrast, users need an invitation link to join a private Telegram channel. By default, newly created channels are set to private. Once done with the settings, users are asked to add subscribers from their contacts before launching the channel.
To find a Telegram channel, users can check the online repository where channels are listed along with their names and topics. For instance, users who want to follow a channel for updates related to technology can open the Telegram repository, select Technology and then join any of the available channels from the list. In addition, users can also find specific Telegram channels by using search terms or by searching the name of the channel.
