The loyal fan base of Teenage Bounty Hunters has been quite vocal about it getting canceled after just one season. Along with the high quality of this fun series for its twists and comedy, it also had some great romantic plots. That included a storyline where one of the main characters discovers that she's bisexual.

The audience was outraged that Netflix has continued to cancel shows with strong LGBTQ representation. Alas, those fans will have to rely on rewatching the available episodes to get their fix of these romances. Some of them were good and lovable, while others were unhealthy and awful for everyone involved.

Bowser & Michelle

Bowser Jenkins phone call Teenage Bounty Hunters

Bowser (Kadeem Hardison) was popular on the show for his teddy bear qualities. He's a big guy but he's pretty sweet on the inside and plays a great father figure for the twins. Viewers everywhere wanted to see Bowser in a healthy relationship as his previous one was far from it.

That would be his marriage to Michelle, which happened before the events of the series began. However, Michelle returned for one episode and immediately showed why this was a toxic relationship. She just manipulated Bowser to get whatever she wanted and he fell victim to her words time and again.

Blair & Jennings

Blair and Jennings from Teenage Bounty Hunters

When the series begins, Blair Wesley (Anjelica Bette Fellini) is in a relationship with a classmate named Jennings (Nicholas Cirillo). For all intents and purposes, things between them were relatively fine. They didn't seem to have any major issues or hostility.

In fact, when the two ultimately broke up in the second episode, it was amicable. Blair had them take a romance quiz and they both realized that this wasn't working out. While that has to be appreciated, they can't be considered a great romance since they weren't compatible in that fashion.

Terrance & Yolanda

Terrance and Yolanda

Michelle's sister is Yolanda (Shirley Rumierk) and most people were rooting for her to end up with Bowser. On the day that Bowser was finally ready to declare his feelings for her, he found that she was already with a guy. That person happened to be Terrance (Cliff "Method Man" Smith).

This upset Bowser even more than it usually would have since Terrance was his rival bounty hunter. Things between Terrance and Yolanda weren't given a ton of screen time but when they were shown, they seemed happy enough. It just wasn't what the fans were hoping for.

Debbie & Anderson

Anderson and Debbie Wesley

This was a relationship that didn't seem all that strong when the show started. Debbie (Virginia Williams) and Anderson Wesley (Mackenzie Astin)  are the parents of the twins but they had their issues. It was clear that Anderson wouldn't stand up to his parents and it caused a rift between them.

However, as the series progressed their relationship got expanded upon. Sure, they had their problems but they loved each other. Their troubled past was a huge test for them and they kept secrets for each other for their entire marriage. This was the strongest relationship on the show.

Sterling & Luke

Luke kisses Sterling

Similar to Blair and Jennings, Sterling Wesley (Maddie Phillips) and Luke Creswell (Spencer House) were together when the show started. In fact, they had sex for the first time in the premiere episode. They lasted longer as a couple but found problems when their parents found out about them hooking up.

They were forced apart and it actually led to them breaking up. However, this was also not a heated split. Luke was clearly hurt by it but he ultimately understood that Sterling needed it. In the finale, there was even a hint of possible reconciliation for two people who love one another.

Blair & Miles

Blair talks to Miles

Following Blair's split from Jennings, it didn't seem like she would be in a serious relationship again so soon. Miles Taylor (Myles Evans) asked her on a date but Blair wasn't interested. She eventually agreed to go and set herself up to do everything wrong on the date until she saw Miles outside of his work attire. She was smitten and the two started dating soon after.

Watching them together was a treat as they showed themselves to be an adorable couple with real feelings for each other. When Blair upset him near the finale after putting her bounty hunting first, including when she sang at the recording studio, fans felt for Miles. They would've ranked higher but their last moments were terrible. Blair poured her heart out to him only to find out that he never told his family about her as he was ashamed of her.

Bowser & Yolanda

Bowser and Yolanda

On a show filled with teenagers, it's expected that the couples wouldn't all be great. These are young people who lack life experience. That's what made Bowser and Yolanda so refreshing. As two adults, the things they went through were much different from the main couples on the show.

While Bowser and Yolanda never officially got together, their romance was a big driving force. Yolanda was the one who was there for Bowser when he fell back into old patterns with her sister. She was always by his side when he wasn't ready and when he finally was, it was because of things he learned from her.

Sterling & April

April kisses Sterling

This was easily the most popular romance on Teenage Bounty Hunters. It was totally unexpected, though. At the start of the series, Sterling became the fellowship leader at her school and was immediately opposed by April Stevens (Devon Hales). The two were rivals and April even threatened to spill the secret about Sterling losing her virginity.

Then, the two went to a debate tournament together. While there, Sterling made out with several guys but only truly felt something when April touched her. That awoke something in Sterling, who kissed April later on and was surprised when she reciprocated. They were only a couple for a few episodes but it was glorious. The series was setting up something intriguing with them and the return of April's father (who the twins put in jail) but a lack of a season two means it will never happen.
