When it comes to Teen Wolf, many side characters, like Sheriff Noah Stilinski, have stood out throughout the series for a number of reasons. Sheriff Stilinski definitely has the authority of a law enforcement officer but when it comes to his son, the rules can be easily blurred. In the last episode of Teen Wolf season 4, Scott and Kira are trapped in a temple in Mexico where Scott has been turned into a Berserker. Stiles insists that he needs to go find Scott, but Stilinski refuses, saying there are other ways they can save Scott. Going against his father's wishes, Stiles enlists Malia's help, and they successfully track down and save Scott in Mexico.

At the end of Teen Wolf season 4, the gang returns from Mexico and Stiles must face his father. Clearly relieved at his son returning safely, the two hug and joke before Stilinski suggests going out for something to eat. However, pulling out of the hug, he reveals that he has handcuffed Stiles to a desk, presumably in revenge. Stilinski and Malia then go out for pizza. This final scene is amazing because it shows Sheriff Stilinski's sense of humor, his willingness to put Stiles in his place, even if it's belated, and an air of sweetness towards Malia that is overall very funny and lighthearted after a distressing episode.

6 Stilinski Cheering On Stiles At Lacrosse Game

More than just being the sheriff of Beacon Hills, Stilinski is also a dedicated father to Stiles. He proves this in several ways throughout the series but one of the most simple yet wonderful moments is when Stilinski cheers on Stiles during one of Teen Wolf's lacrosse game scenes. In Teen Wolf season 2, episode 11, Stiles is put into a lacrosse game for the first time ever and even though expectations are low, he ends up dominating the field. Sheriff Stilinski cheers hard for his son, making the scene incredibly heartwarming.

5 Stilinski Protects Lydia From Supernatural Quake

While Stiles' love for Lydia is blatant throughout Teen Wolf, he's not the only Stilinski that looks out for her in the show. In Teen Wolf season 3, episode 9, Jennifer Blake is revealed to be a Druid Emissary that wants to complete a series of human sacrifices to gain immense power and take down the Alpha Pack. She targets Lydia, who discovers she's a banshee, and prepares to kill her, but before she can, Sheriff Stilinski comes to the rescue.

Stilinski's actions to save Lydia and the Alpha Pack showcase his heroism and his willingness to throw himself into danger, no matter the cost. Although Blake is eventually defeated, Stilinski suffers a stab wound in his shoulder then becomes Jennifer's prisoner over the course of several episodes. 4 Stiles Trying To Explain The Supernatural World To Stilinski With Chess

In the same episode of Teen Wolf, before Jennifer Blake brings her wrath upon the Alpha Pack, Stiles attempts to explain the supernatural elements of Beacon Hills to Sheriff Stilinski for the first time. Using a chess board, Stiles, with the help of Derek Hale's sister, depicts the many supernatural groups and players with sticky notes and corresponding chess pieces. The demonstration doesn't immediately sink in for Stilinski until he sees Scott transform into a werewolf later in the episode.

The chess scene is a great moment for Stilinski and Stiles because it portrays a moment of them growing closer, even if they don't quite understand each other at first. For several seasons, Stilinski remains unaware of the supernatural elements of Stiles' life, but with the chess scene, they finally get to be on the same page. Not only is the scene comical and a bit stressful, it's also meaningful because it brings Stilinski in on everything that the main cast and the audience has been experiencing for three seasons. This is definitely a moment that leads viewers into becoming closer to Sheriff Stilinski as a character.

The best part of these moments are the tight hugs that father and son give each other once they're found safe again. In an intense speech to the gang, Stilinski says that he knows he has a son and reveals Stiles' real name as being Mieczyslaw, although Stiles could only pronounce it as "mischief." This scene is a particularly striking moment for Stilinski's character as it delves deep into his emotions and shows that despite the Ghost Riders' magic, he will always be able to remember his son. Plus, it gives viewers the answer to a series-long question in a very touching, sad way.

At his core, Sheriff Stilinski is an insanely brave and casually cool guy. He isn't flawless but he does his best to protect Stiles and his friends and be the best father he can be. In one of his most iconic scenes in all six seasons ofTeen Wolf, Sheriff Stilinski faces off against three young deputies after they try to kill Deputy Jordan Parrish. Stilinski wins the fight unanimously with only a bloody nose to show for it. This scene truly shows Stilinski in his prime and is a perfect example of why viewers love him. Even without supernatural powers, Sheriff Stilinski still holds his own in the coolest way possible.
