As a dark supernatural television show, MTV's Teen Wolf includes a number of character deaths throughout the series. Not even the main characters are immune to the violence of Beacon Hills' supernatural world as the Teen Wolf creatures became a lot scarier and more threatening as the seasons went on.

Most of the deaths involve supporting characters who haven't become an important part of the story. These deaths are usually for the sake of the plot, and they do their job in drawing Scott's attention to the latest threat in Beacon Hills. However, sometimes, a beloved character is sacrificed for a myriad of reasons, leaving a gaping hole in the lives of the main characters.

Jennifer Blake

When all is revealed about Jennifer Blake's history, viewers can't help but feel a little sorry for her. The circumstances surrounding her death paint a desperate, pathetic picture of her life. However, fans don't exactly mourn her death because of the way she manipulates Derek - not to mention the amount of bloodshed she causes.

Still, when Jennifer dies, it feels like a loss of hope for the life she could have had. She had been wronged, which is no justification for her actions, but she dies without having done anything meaningful with her life.

Victoria Argent

Chris And Victoria Argent In Teen Wolf

The death of Victoria is hard to swallow for audiences and characters alike since she was depicted as a villain during her time on the show. However, viewers can't help but feel that she didn't need to die. When she is bitten by a werewolf and beginning to transform, she decides to follow the family code and end her own life.

Victoria's death ended up affecting a lot of characters, particularly Allison and Chris. Although Victoria was one of the most hated characters in Teen Wolf, their hearts did break a little at her last couple of scenes as they could see that how much the hunter really loved her family. Unfortunately, Victoria never gets to see the Argents stand for something positive.

Paige Krasikeva

Paige from Teen Wolf talking to Derek

Paige is introduced when Scott and Stiles learn about Derek's past, particularly regarding the color of his eyes. The story of his first love is heartbreaking, and Paige's death seems totally unnecessary. She dies as an innocent young woman who hasn't yet achieved any of her dreams or experienced much of her life.

Paige's death changes Derek forever, and the deep impact of this alone is enough to break fans' hearts. However, since Paige only appears in a few episodes, fans don't get the chance to form as deep a connection with her as with some of the other characters, so her death isn't as sad as some of the others.

Tracy Stewart

Tracy is another innocent character who dies because she gets dragged into the supernatural world. As a human, she struggles with night terrors, which makes her the perfect target for Theo to manipulate and turn into his own chess piece.

Tracy's death is not a pleasant one. After becoming adjusted to her new supernatural body and gaining some confidence, Theo takes her life. Tracy never gets to live a fear-free life or explore who she really wants to be. When she finally does gain some power, she's controlled by someone else - someone who manipulates her and finally kills her to steal her power.

Aiden

Aiden looking onwards in Teen Wolf

Aiden's death is easily one of the saddest in the show for a number of reasons. After being introduced as one of the villains at the start of season 3, he begins a redemption arc. However, he doesn't quite complete this arc before his death, unlike Ethan, who is much more firmly on Scott's side.

Aiden's death is a heartbreaking moment for all of the characters, who, unfortunately, are present to witness it. Lydia is one of the characters most impacted by his death, which comes almost immediately after Allison's. She's only recently broken up with him, but it's obvious she still cares about him, even in season 5 when she hallucinates him in Eichen House. However, the saddest thing about Aiden's death is Ethan's grief and loss of identity.

Erica Reyes

Erica from Teen Wolf standing in front of a locker

Erica is not the most popular or a well-liked character on Teen Wolfshe didn't deserve to die. She's still an innocent who doesn't know what she's gotten herself into with her newfound powers, which is, sadly, part of the reason for her downfall.

However, her hopes are quickly dashed when she realizes it's the full moon. Kali, a member of the Alpha Pack, kills Erica without much difficulty, energized by the full moon. Fans were a little disappointed by this as Erica had a lot of potential so it was a shame that she didn't get to complete her arc. What's even sadder is that no one seems to remember her at all after this.

Vernon Boyd

Boyd from Teen Wolf

Another death that took fans by surprise was Boyd's. Some fans believe that Boyd brings his death upon himself. Not long after Erica dies, he wants to avenge her death since the two of them grew close after they were bitten. However, his plan to confront the Alphas doesn't work.

Upon the confrontation, the Alphas manipulate Derek so that he ends up impaling Boyd with his claws. Before he dies, Boyd thanks Derek for making him feel good about himself. This moment reminds viewers of how young, innocent, and helpless Boyd has been all his life. Boyd is also quite close with Scott and his friends, especially Isaac, and it's a shame he never gets to be a part of their pack.

Claudia Stilinski

Though viewers don't really get to know Claudia, Stiles and his dad talk enough about her that it feels like she's still present in their lives. Brief flashbacks and shots of old photos reveal the circumstances around her death, but it's the aftermath that impacts viewers the most.

Even though she dies years before the show begins, Stiles and Noah still feel her loss keenly. It's obvious that Stiles is severely affected by it, especially in season 3. He and his dad share a few emotional scenes that revolve around their grief for her. In season 6, Noah relives his marriage with her, but it's not the same because she isn't real.

Allison Argent

Scott holds Allison as she dies on the ground in Teen Wolf

Allison's death is, without a doubt, the saddest in the series. Of all the characters who died and came back to life, Teen Wolf fans wish Allison could have come back. Scott mourns her death for a very long time, regretting their missed connections throughout season 3. Similarly, Allison expresses her love for him even after pushing him away.

Long after she's gone, Scott finds ways to remember and commemorate Allison, acknowledging that she added something special to the pack. Outside of her relationship with Scott, Allison is a unique character with her own set of values. She revolutionizes her family's legacy and helps her father turn his life around.
