Warning: SPOILERS for Teen Wolf: The Movie.

Teen Wolf: The Movie stars Tyler Posey and Crystal Reed break down the spoilers of the MTV reunion movie. Scott McCall is officially back, with Teen Wolf returning to the small screen this week after the MTV series ended only a few years ago. Rather than returning for season 7, however, Teen Wolf re-emerged in the form of a reunion film. The story picks up almost two decades after the end of Teen Wolf season 6 and follows Scott and his loved ones years after high school.

While Scott has faced a lot of threats in the past, his latest challenge was a personal one in Teen Wolf: The Movie. Despite having died in Teen Wolf season 3, Allison Argent came back to life through the show's supernatural ways, but not without some trouble. By the film's end, Allison and Scott have gained a second chance to be together, although the journey there was easier said than done.

Screen Rant had the honor of chatting with Posey and Reed about reuniting for Teen Wolf: The Movie, marking the first time in years they have worked together. Stars Break Down Teen Wolf: The Movie

Tyler Posey as Scott McCall in Teen Wolf The Movie

Screen Rant: Have you guys seen the theories of what's going down in this film? Because I don't think any part of the Teen Wolf fandom is ready for what's about to come.

Tyler Posey: Yeah, I don't know if you can predict what's happening. I personally haven't seen any. I wouldn't know where to look. I don't really go on Twitter anymore; I don't really read the comments section. My Instagram is the only thing I do with social media, so I haven't seen any theories. But maybe I will check in and see what people are thinking because that's always fun to see how close people get to the actual storyline.

Crystal Reed: I don't know either. We couldn't predict the success of it when it was just starting. I feel as though it's the same with this. I truthfully, know that I just did my best; we did our best. Whatever is going to be, and will be, however it's received. I just cross my fingers.

I tried to remember how much you guys had to do physical action scenes in the original series because, through this film, I think we saw you fight more in these two hours than we ever did on Teen Wolf. How much fun did you guys have playing this type of dynamic before we eventually got back to the romance?

Crystal Reed: It was really fun and challenging. At times, it was super tiring. People got hurt in a good safe way! [laughs] I passed out, it was all of the things that culminated in a big beautiful crescendo, which I think is always great. I love doing physical work on set because it keeps me awake and really present. I love feeling that energy in my body.

Tyler Posey: Yes, stunts and fights? It's so much fun. I feel really rewarded as an actor when I feel like I did a solid job emotionally. But when I go home with battle wounds, I'm also like, 'Cool. I did something sick!' You had a huge bruise on your hip. She got nailed one time. It's rewarding, as much as it hurts, it's rewarding [to go] home with that kind of stuff, you feel like you really did a solid job at work.

Crystal Reed: I had a lot of leg makeup on with blood, dust, dirt, and I would always forget the end of a night shoot to wash it off. In the morning, I would pull over open my covers and I would be so shocked at the state of my legs because it looks real! But it's not. [laughs] It's a nice little surprise for my hard work.

Let's say Jeff Davis comes back and says, 'Hey, the film did pretty well. Would you guys be up for another?' What do you think would be the natural next chapter for your characters or do you see the movie as the perfect ending?

Tyler Posey: It's definitely not the perfect ending. I think it lends itself to more. I want more, and I think would be interesting to now see how they live their lives as adults. We got to see them as teenagers. We got to see them for two days as adults, but they were distracted by all this chaos. I really want to see them get into the depression, the anxiety, the weight, the heaviness of being an adult that comes with it. And real-life adult scenarios; not just saving your friends' lives, but dealing with s--t that needs to be dealt with. I think that would be really interesting to do.

Crystal: Maybe mental health or psychological aspects would be really interesting. And it could help people.
