Images from the set of the Teen Wolf movie indicate that the project has wrapped filming. The film will be a continuation of the MTV series that ran from 2011 to 2017 and produced 100 episodes. Show creator Jeff Davis is returning to write and produce the film and will see cast members such as Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Linden Ashby, and Melissa Ponzio reprising their roles, with Dylan O'Brien, Arden Cho, and Cody Christian not returning.

Teen Wolf will see a new evil emerging in the town of Beacon Hills and will follow original protagonist Scott McCall (Posey) as he must reunite his old allies and make new friends to face it. All six seasons of the series are now available to stream on Paramount+, where the Teen Wolf movie will exclusively premiere. The film continuation currently does not have a release date. During production, the cast and crew shared Teen Wolf movie set photos to provide updates, and now it looks like filming has wrapped.

In a tweet from the official Teen Wolf account, the producers confirm that the film has wrapped shooting, revealing two BTS images. The first shows a clapboard with the film's logo, presumably for the last scene that was shot, which shows the film is directed by Russell Mulcahy, who directed 40 episodes of the TV series. The second shows a set chair with the film's logo in a night shoot, with crew members milling around nearby. The caption confirms that filming has ended and a congratulations to the cast and crew for their work. Check out the images below:

Given the show's cult following, the Teen Wolf movie is highly anticipated by fans given the five-year gap between the show ending and the film's release. Due to Davis' deal with Paramount+, the series also has a new spinoff in the works titled Wolf Pack that will be set in the same universe and share mythology. The spinoff is still in pre-production, with Davis likely waiting for the Teen Wolf movie's release before focusing on it.

Teen Wolf garnered a following for its tone, action, dark humor, and performances, with many noting its high quality compared to other MTV offerings. Due to being acquired by Paramount, the film will likely see a higher budget which will allow for a consistency in quality that returning viewers will appreciate. The Teen Wolf move could be a letdown for some due to the lack of certain characters, but enough pieces are in place for this to be an exciting and worthwhile comeback for the property. Hopefully the project lives up to its potential when it releases.
