Warning! Spoilers ahead for Teen Wolf: The Movie.

After successfully saving Beacon Hills from a new threat, Teen Wolf: The Movie ending offers a sneak peek at the future of several McCall Pack members. More than a decade since Scott McCall and his pack dealt with Gerard Argent and the Anuk-Ite, a new mystery pulls them back to their hometown for a new mission. Years after her tragic death, Allison Argent returns, but while it's supposed to be a reason for celebration, it poses a fresh mystery for the McCall Pack to solve that's especially tricky to navigate since Scott is pitted against the love of life. Luckily, the Teen Wolf Movie ends mostly on a good note.

Almost six years since MTV canceled Teen Wolf after season 6, its popularity endures, motivating the franchise's expansion which provides the perfect opportunity to reunite the McCall pack and revisit some of the show's biggest plots, particularly Allison's death. Her resurrection was part of the Nogitsune's plan to kill Scott, so it can feed on Allison's pain — a reverse of what happened in Teen Wolf season 3. The Teen Wolf Movie ends with the villain defeated thanks to a coordinated effort by the McCall pack and a big sacrifice from one of their own.

5 Scott McCall

After years of playing the hero in Beacon Hills, Scott McCall moves on with his life in Los Angeles, where he uses his supernatural abilities as an Alpha in smaller but still meaningful ways. That's when Chris Argent recruits him into revisiting Allison's death, allowing them to reunite. Little did everyone know, that Allison's return in the Teen Wolf Movie is part of the Nogitsune's plan. Luckily for the McCall pack, they eventually realize this, shifting their focus to taking down the real villain instead. In the end, the Nogitsune and Oni are defeated, allowing Scott and Allison the romantic reunion they deserve.

With Allison back in his life, Teen Wolf Movie gives Scott the perfect ending. The film sees them back in Los Angeles, where he carries out his job at Alan Deaton's veterinarian. It's a great place to leave Scott — happy in his personal and professional life. Moving forward, however, the Teen Wolf Movie set him up to be the mentor of Eli Hale, Derek Hale's son who is the newest member of the McCall pack. It's the perfect transition storyline that will keep Scott involved in the evolving franchise while also moving the story forward.

4 Allison Argent

Given its genre, the McCall Pack isn't new to losing allies, but Allison's Teen Wolf season 3 death is arguably the worst one. So, seeing her back in Teen Wolf Movie is a treat, especially since her resurrection is the central mystery of the Paramount+ film. Despite the Nogitsune's attempt to take advantage of her limited memory and turn her against her friends, Scott's faith helped her remember the life she lived before her demise. While there are still a few unanswered questions surrounding her return, Teen Wolf Movie mostly sets up a great future as she rekindles her romance with Scott.

Depending on what's next for the McCall Pack, Allison can play an important role in the team in their future endeavors, all while she figures out the specifics of her resurrection. Since she was gone for a long time, her next act could revolve around reincorporating herself into the team and the world, in general. Because of the limited screen time in the Teen Wolf Movie, it wasn't able to lean on the emotional payoff of seeing her reunite with all of her loved ones, so her next appearance could also rectify that.

3 Derek Hale

Teen Wolf Derek Hale

A long-time fan-favorite, Derek Hale returns in the Teen Wolf Movie as a father to 15-year-old Eli. Derek's arc primarily revolves around their relationship, as Eli struggles to come to terms with being a werewolf. Recognizing the threat that the Nogitsune poses, Derek decides to make the ultimate heroic act by sacrificing himself to take down the villain, but not before he officially leaves Eli to Scott's care as a member of the McCall pack. Derek's personal arc may be finished, but the impact of his death can serve as the launching pad to a couple of future plots, particularly Eli's own werewolf journey.

2 Lydia Martin

Teen Wolf Movie Lydia

Dylan O'Brien isn't in the Teen Wolf Movie as Stiles Stilinski, but his long-time love, Lydia Martin, is. The McCall Pack's resident banshee was motivated to return to Beacon Hills after getting odd premonitions about Allison and her resurrection. Aside from her involvement in figuring out the real reason behind the Beacon Hills fire, Lydia's return also effectively sets up a new Teen Wolf mystery after she revealed that she has broken up with Stiles because she started having nightmares of being in a car crash that kills him. Leaving her long-time love was her way of attempting to prevent that.

The Teen Wolf Movie doesn't reveal more information about Lydia's dreams, but it's a narrative that could be worth exploring moving forward. It could be the premise of a potential sequel film or spin-off. Assuming that either of these projects happens, then Lydia will expectedly be at the center of its narrative. Hopefully, by then, O'Brien can finally return as Teen Wolf's Stiles as well.

1 Eli Hale

The Teen Wolf Movie does a great job focusing on the McCall Pack and establishing what their lives have become since the finale. Part of Derek's arc is the introduction of his son — Eli. Like his father, Eli is a werewolf and could very well be the face of the franchise's future. While the young werewolf doesn't have any personal ties to Allison and the mystery surrounding her return other than being a target because of his form, the Teen Wolf Movie did a great job establishing the character, making it the secondary plot.

Derek's death, as tragic as it may be, propels his arc moving forward, as Teen Wolf: The Movie ends with Eli's eyes turning yellow — a sign that he's ready to embrace his true nature as a werewolf after struggling to transform for a while. Perhaps Eli's story may even connect to Jeff Davis' Wolf Pack. Despite current claims that there's no connection between the new Paramount+ series and Teen Wolf, that can still change moving forward, especially if Eli becomes the new Alpha after some mentoring from Scott.
