Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for Teen Wolf: The Movie.Teen Wolf: The Movie finally provides some clarity for a mystery left unanswered in the third season of Teen Wolf regarding its villain for the season. Teen Wolf: The Movie is set more than 10 years after the ending of Teen Wolf and, thus, features many of its original characters as now adults who return to Beacon Hills to defend the Californian town from a supernatural threat that is at the same time old and new. In fact, Teen Wolf: The Movie borrows some of its plotline and villains from Teen Wolf season 3.
The second part of Teen Wolf season 3 sees a new figure introduced, the Nogistune. As arguably one of Teen Wolf's strongest and most interesting antagonists, the Nogistune was brought back in Teen Wolf: The Movie as well. Many iconic Teen Wolf characters come back for the film, including Allison Argent's surprising return. Returning villains like the Nogitsune and Adrian Harris - one of the school's teachers - allows Teen Wolf to answer questions about its antagonists that weren't clear before Teen Wolf: The Movie.
Teen Wolf: The Movie Answers What Happened To Mr. Harris
A big mystery left unanswered in Teen Wolf is what happened to Mr. Harris. The last time Mr. Harris is seen in Teen Wolf before Teen Wolf: The Movie is at the beginning of season 3, connecting the movie together with Teen Wolf season 3 thematically once again. The last plot Mr. Harris was involved in was that of the Darach who was responsible for multiple ritualistic murders. In episode 4 of season 3, Harris is kidnapped and tied to a tree as a sacrifice by the Darach - but when he unsuccessfully begs for his life, he implies that he was working for the Darach up until then.
With many notable absences in the Teen Wolf movie, including Stiles', it may be surprising to see Harris out of all characters come back to Teen Wolf: The Movie. Although many had assumed that Mr Harris died, similarly to the other people who had been used for sacrifices by the Darach, it is clear that he survived. After all, his body is not actually found in the third season of Teen Wolf, therefore it is never confirmed within the show that Mr Harris was actually dead.
Why Was Mr. Harris Working With The Nogitsune
As it is revealed in Teen Wolf: The Movie, the person controlling the Nogitsune is none other than Beacon Hills high school's chemistry teacher, Mr Harris. The reason why Mr Harris decided to work with the Nogitsune in Teen Wolf: The Movie is because he wanted retribution for what has happened to him after the Darach turned against him in Teen Wolf season 3. In fact, Harris also explains that he wanted revenge on Scott's pack in particular, as he blames Scott McCall and Lydia Martin for what has happened to him in the past.
Indeed, while not a major character, Mr Harris' presence also works in the movie for another reason. This is namely that earlier in the show, he is also connected to Kate Argent, as he is the one who taught her how to cause the fire that ended up killing the Hale family. Therefore, his comeback in Teen Wolf: The Movie as a villain is entirely fitting with his character's previous story, and helps tie the movie to the show even better.
