After six seasons, the Teen Wolf television show has built epic journeys for our characters. Scott, the main character, started out as a beta wolf after being bit by Peter Hale. However, being a beta never sat well with Scott, nor did omega. This is because Scott is a true alpha, not an alpha that becomes one from killing another. He is a rare kind of alpha that achieves the status because of some power within him that is unmatched in others. He can make himself an alpha.

Also rare, Scott has an unusual pack. His pack is not just of werewolves but teenagers and people of both supernatural and human natures. Each member of his pack has proven valuable by their power, loyalty, and intelligence. These thirteen stand out as true members (although some may not have started that way).

Theo

Theo isn't often considered a member, primarily because he was one of the main villains for Season 5. However, we see Theo shift in Season 6. When he's freed from a hell-world, he becomes homeless. Later, he helps the McCall pack by putting his own life on the line to help Liam and Scott.

In the end, he learns to have compassion for others. He calls himself a pack member, though Malia (and others) would disagree.

Corey

Corey looks serious in Teen Wolf

Corey was made supernatural by the Dread Doctors, and he has a very unusual gift: He can make himself invisible. As the only one in the pack with this power, he can come in handy when hiding and spying on people. Corey is also very loyal. Initially part of the chimera-pack (Theo's), he seemed to be able to resist Theo's (at the time) bad influence.

He becomes very loyal to the McCall Pack once he's a part of it. However, as we found out in Season 6, there are ways to make the invisible visible, thus, dampening his power.

Liam

Liam is Scott's true beta, and they share a tight bond due to this. In order to save Liam, Scott bit him. Although Liam is strong and has good intentions, he's easily manipulated and can't control his anger. Due to Theo's influence, Liam actually tries to kill Scott and almost succeeds. Later in Season 6, Theo is a positive influence and calms Liam down.

His anger could be his strength, but for much of his journey, it's his downfall. And unfortunately, it puts other pack members in dangerous positions.

Mason

Khylin Rhambo in Teen Wolf

While Mason had been made into the beast and supernatural by the Dread Doctors, the pack saved him. Mason is human, but he's not defenseless. Like Stiles, Mason is smart and insightful. Like most pack members, he's also very loyal. He is one of the few that is able to call Liam back when Liam's anger takes over, which is helpful for the whole pack. In addition, if there were another season, we could see Mason's character developing even more.

Hayden

Victoria Moroles in Teen Wolf

Hayden was first made into a chimera, and unlike some from that group, she was able to hold onto her wits and values. Later, Hayden is made into a werewolf by Scott. So, she's adapted to two different supernatural natures, and that flexibility is a key value that ranks her higher than others on the list. For being a young werewolf, she's strong and strong-willed, yet she can see the bigger picture as well.

Isaac

Isaac stands in the school hallway in Teen Wolf

To withstand growing up with an abusive father and to still remember/recognize positive traits about his dad, Isaac has to be built of inner strength. While he is part of Derek Hale's pack, he is among the first of that pack to learn how to calm his werewolf nature. In addition, Isaac chooses to be with Scott instead. In the end, he respects Scott more than Derek. Isaac would put himself in harm's way to save Scott when he was active in the pack.

Kira

Kira activating her Thunder Kitsune powers in Teen Wolf

Kira is a kitsune; her fox spirit glows around her when she uses her powers. Kira can absorb electricity and amplify it. When she's in control of her power, she's a great member of this pack. Additionally, she inherited this gift from her mother, so she's both a natural and has access to knowledge passed down from her family. She also will live for a long time.

However, on the negative side, Kira has a hard time controlling her power, and her fox-like spirit shifts into being more negative and dangerous energy. She threatens her pack members when that kitsune takes over, making her forget her actions. Kira leaves to work on this, even though she's devoted to the pack.

Allison

Allison, Scott's first love, serves as an anchor to him when he first learns to control his werewolf nature. Apart from just being Scott's love interest, Allison is from a long line and family tradition of werewolf hunters. In time, Allison becomes one of the first members of his pack.

Although human, she's a highly skilled hunter connected to generational-knowledge and artifacts that help out the team many a time. Scott trusts Allison, and she comes through while she is alive, and in a way, she comes through to help him even when she's dead.

Malia

Malia Tate in her coyote form in Teen Wolf

Malia is a werecoyote, and unlike others, she lived much of her life in werecoyote form. Her sense of smell is intense, her honesty is unquestionable, and her loyalty is solid. Because she lived a big portion of her life in her animal form, she understands the world differently. At times, the pack needs to call on her knowledge in order to understand a situation more thoroughly. Another characteristic is that Malia is persistent; she won't give up easily, a trait very much needed in the pack.

Derek

While initially not a member of McCall's pack, Derek becomes one by association. At times, Derek is a foe, at times a friend, but all in all, Derek is a good guy. He's strong since he's both older than the other pack members and was born a werewolf. We were glad to see Scott and Derek finally team-up. Derek is a pack member that you want to have your back because he's strong and supportive (although he may not have the best taste in romantic partners).

Stiles

Stiles Stilinski in Teen Wolf

Stiles is Scott's best friend, and his sense of loyalty to Scott and the other pack members runs deep. He's human (aside from being possessed once), but he's incredibly intelligent. In Season 6, he's "erased" and put in another place with many others. Even with his identity being forgotten by his friends and father, Stiles finds ways to hint at his existence to them. He even discovers how to communicate with them through radio.

Stiles is there through it all, and continues to develop into one of the brightest stars of the pack.

Lydia

Lydia is another one of the members who is especially talented. We learn that when she goes to college, MIT, she transfers as a junior, rather than a freshman. Given any impossible puzzle, Lydia figures it out. She learns how to get Stiles when he is "erased," and she's a quick thinker. On top of this, Lydia is a banshee. She knows when people are meant to die, and she can harness her scream as a weapon--breaking glass and pushing villains away. While she hid her intelligence and didn't understand her gifts in early seasons, by Season 6 she accepts who she is.

Scott

Scott is a true alpha, which is incredibly rare. That alone would land him high on this list. On top of that, he was one who composed this pack of loyal and powerful members. Scott cares about his friends. While sometimes he can be too trusting, he learns from his mistakes. Often he's one step ahead of his foes, who underestimate him. He's strong and insightful. But his real super strength is his charisma--he can bring together people who would otherwise not mix.
