As Paramount+ gears up to release the highly anticipated film for Teen Wolf in October of this year, Stiles is the one main character not returning, but the creators addressed ways he would be subtly referenced. That said, the trailer showed some familiar faces making their return - some of whom fans had watched since season 1.

Although many characters have come and gone over the seasons, most from season 1 have been able to survive the chaos that is Beacon Hills so far. From Scott McCall to Sheriff Stilinski and Lydia Martin, these characters have been present in the series from the first to the very last episode of the show.

After almost losing his entire family to a fire as a teen, Derek Hale's survival became a must from season 1 and onward.
