The Teen Wolf: The Movie trailer has revealed that most of the characters from the original MTV series will return for the new movie. The film will take on a whole new story for the residents of Beacon Hills but keep all of the paranormal elements and drama of the original series.

Over the show's six seasons, fans got to know the Teen Wolf characters well, almost on the same level that they have gotten to know the characters of the MCU. Fans noticed that some of the characters from Teen Wolf could play beloved characters in the MCU based on their personalities.

Scott McCall: Captain America

Both Scott McCall and Captain America undergo massive physical changes due to an outside force, but both characters also undergo personality changes throughout their storylines.

Scott becomes a reluctant leader amongst his friends when more supernatural creatures threaten the ones he cares about. This is precisely what happens with Steve Rodgers when he goes to save Bucky and forms the Howling Commandos. Both characters are not afraid to jump into a fight if it means saving the world as they know it.

Stiles Stilinski: Bucky Barnes

Some people have compared Stiles to Peter Parker, but he is more of a Bucky Barnes-type character. Besides being the best sidekicks, both Stiles and Bucky have their minds taken over by evil entities; for Bucky, it was Hydra brainwashing him into becoming The Winter Solider, and Stiles became the Nogitsune who had terrifying quotes in the show.

Stiles and Bucky share a knack for delivering snarky comebacks when their counterparts are on their heroic high horses and offer comedic relief when needed.

Derek Hale: Nick Fury

Nick Fury is the genius behind bringing the Avengers together. In a way, Derek Hale creates his own Avengers with all the supernatural residences of Beacon Hills that he brings together when he returns to town after being off the grid for many years.

Derek Hale delivers some of the shadiest burns in Teen Wolf, and any MCU fan will know that Nick Fury is the master of shade when it comes to putting heroes in their place. Both men act as teachers for their recruits and mold them into the heroes they need to be versus who they think they should be.

Lydia Martin: Yelena Belova

Lydia and Yelena are both women who have gone through a lot of trauma to become the powerful fighters that fans have come to love. Both of these women are underestimated and make a grand show of just how powerful they are when it comes time to take down an enemy.

Lydia Martin has great outfits on Teen Wolf, and it could be argued that Yelena is one of the most fashion-forward characters in the MCU. Both women are very sarcastic but have a little sister quality to their characters, making them lovable.

Melissa McCall: Aunt May

Every superhero needs a mother figure that shapes them into who they are for better or worse, and Aunt May and Melissa McCall are some of the best moms ever to do it. Even though she's had some controversial moments in the Spider-Man comics, MCU Aunt May is a comforting presence for Peter before and after she knows he is trying to save the world, just like Melissa does with Scott.

Both women take on raising teen boys alone with grace and style, all while proving without them, their boys may not get far.

Allison Argent: Hope Van Dyne

Hope Van Dyne loves working with her father, but the two have a complicated relationship that ultimately affects her work as The Wasp. Allison has a similar relationship with her dad; even though she has trained under him most of her life, the pair don't always see eye to eye on the missions Allison goes on.

Both characters constantly try to prove that they are ready to be the main hero in their own story and that their training has paid off. Despite their differences, both characters fall for their male hero counterpart making their stories even more complicated and, in Allison's case, tragic.

Jackson Whittemore: Loki

Everyone loves a good villain to an anti-hero story arch; in this case, both Loki and Jackson share this development. Like Loki, Jackson was widely hated by fans at the being of Teen Wolf but, over time, came to look forward to seeing him on their screens and become less of a jerk to Scott and more of an ally.

Loki has a similar arc, from trying to destroy the world to being one of Thor's most valuable allies. Both characters carry a dark sense even as they creep closer to hero status and keep their villainous attitude.

Kira Yukimura: Gamora

Besides their weapons of choice being a sword, Gamora and Kira are similar characters. Kira and Gamora are knowledgeable about the villains and evil plaguing their friends, making them the perfect additions to the teams they join.

Without Gamora, the Guardians of the Galaxy would never have been able to get to Thanos and may have changed the course of The Infinity Saga. In Teen Wolf, Kira has not only the knowledge of their enemy but the power to take them down, making her one of the show's biggest heroes.

Kate Argent: Black Widow

Kate Argent is one of the best kinds of villains. She is intelligent, witty, and knows how to mold herself into the person she needs to be to fit in and get information that she wants to take down her targets. Even though she isn't a villain, Black Widow has the same set of skills that Kate does but uses them for good as a part of The Avengers.

Kate and Natasha Romanov use their beauty to their advantage to play men who underestimate them. Unfortunately for fans of these characters, they also share their storylines ending in death, affecting the rest of their family's lives forever.

Coach Bobby Finstock: Hulk

Coach Finnstock may not seem like a character that would share traits with Hulk or Bruce Banner, but under closer inspection, the characters are more alike than they appear. Like Hulk, Coach Finnstock is not someone people want to be around when he is angry.

He almost seems to be different when coaching, and his players don't meet his expectations. Even though Bruce Banner is usually the most intelligent person in the room, Coach Finnstock thinks he is the most brilliant guy in the room; he may even call himself a genius.
