During its run, Teen Wolf has had some entertaining and vicious villains and every season seemed to bring in a bigger and worse villain than the last. They did this while also providing some familiar enemies for Scott and the wolf pack to battle, sometimes with unexpected and mixed results.

Season 1 - Peter Hale

Peter Hale In Teen Wolf Season 1

Season 1 of Teen Wolf introduced Peter Hale as one of the first villains in the series and he was a menacing one at that. His introduction came with the knowledge that he'd murdered his very own niece to steal her alpha powers.

This murder only pushed him further in his thirst for power, and family meant nothing in his pursuit to be alpha of all alphas. Peter Hale brought death and terror to Beacon Hills and his methods made him the number one villain in this season.

Season 1 - Kate Argent

A menace not only in presence but in name too, Kate Argent was a sociopathic villain. She enjoyed torturing and taunting those she sought to kill and had no remorse for doing so. In season 1, fans learn that Kate is the reason for the death of the Hale family after she locked them inside of their burning house, and enjoyed every second of it.

She lives by no code and this allows her to act on her tendencies without guilt or penance. Kate’s sadistic and cold-hearted nature made her enjoyable to watch as another villain in season 1 of the series.

Season 2 - Victoria Argent

Victoria Argent was the wife of Chris Argent and mother to Allison. If fans didn't know that Chris is the son of Gerard, it would be believed that Victoria was his true child. She embodied the Argent code like no other and was more like Gerard than his son.  She was calculating and evil in her pursuit of the supernatural and Scott McCall.

She didn't allow anything to get in the way of her plans, even manipulating her daughter to turn her against Scott and trying to kill Scott on multiple occasions, at one point setting off his asthma with wolfsbane. Her one-sighted goal made her unknowingly dangerous to the teenager and clandestine villain this season.

Season 3A - Deucalion and The Alpha Pack

In the first half of season 3 of Teen Wolf, fans are introduced to the demon wolf and his psychotic pack aka Deucalion and the Alpha Pack.  Vicious and power-hungry, Deucalion and his pack gained their alpha powers and abilities by murdering their packs and banding together. They aren’t merciful in their tactics and are very calculated in their plans with them being responsible for the deaths of many, including Erica and Boyd.

These calculated attacks were meant to separate the hero pack and were successful for a little bit, showcasing just how formidable this villain truly was. Although Scott and company came out on top this season, Deucalion and the alpha pack gave the heroes a run for their money.

Season 3A - The Darach

With methods so brutal and barbaric, Jennifer Blake aka The Darach made this season her own. Her posing as an innocent English teacher and embedding herself in the lives of Scott and his friends proved how calculating and callous she was.

She sacrificed innocent lives for the goal of revenge against Deucalion, making her no better than the wolf himself. Her true form makes her scary on her own, however, her justification for her murder spree being that she is the ultimate victim, in the end, accounts for just how treacherous and villainous she truly is.

Season 3B - Void Stiles

Dylan O'Brien’s character Stiles Stilinski has some iconic scenes and lines in the series. His character's sarcasm, smart wit, and loyalty have made him a fan favorite. However, in season 3B, optimistic and funny Stiles went void. Void Stiles was a trickster demon who enjoyed pulling off hazardous jokes and tricks with the end goal of creating chaos.

He took pleasure in others' fear and fed off of it. Void Stiles knew his opponent's weak spots and he played on them, making sure to pit friend against friend and foe against foe. This is what made him one of the best villains this season.

Season 4 - Peter Hale

Never one to learn his lesson even when he fails on every coup d’état against Scott McCall, Peter Hale is nothing if not consistent in his goals. He's manipulative and ruthless in his techniques, with no care of who he hurts even if it's family.

In season 4, Peter is still on a mission to be the Alpha going as far as to align himself with Kate Argent in a bid to usurp Scott’s alpha powers. His thirst for power makes him dangerous even to his daughter, Malia, whom he manipulates to try to get what he wants making him one of the top villains in this season.

Season 5 - Theo Raeken

Some villains you never see coming and in season 5 of the series, Theo Raeken was this villain. He embedded himself in Scott's friend group and seemed to be a concerned friend in some situations. However, he was always plotting to take Scott’s alpha powers and form his very own pack.

Although Stiles seemed to see right through him, he was still able to easily manipulate Scott and cause a rift between the two friends by the end of the season. Theo was very devious and envious of Scott, which made him a villain to watch for, especially with the knowledge that he had murdered his sister when they were younger. His plans eventually fail this season, however, he was entertaining to watch as this season's villain.

Season 6 - Gerard Argent

In the final season of the hit series, Scott and his pack see the reappearance of an old foe, Gerard Argent, with his vendetta against Scott and the wolves still in high gear. Gerard has been one of the most consistent villains of the show from season 2 up until the end.

In this season, Gerard is pulling all the strings behind the scenes to bring down Scott and every other supernatural in Beacon Hills. His knowledge, skill, and propensity for manipulation are what make him an all-around threat for so many seasons. He always proves a worthy antagonist even with his losses, because someway somehow Gerard comes out alive. His patience and determination are unrivaled making him a formidable enemy and villain in the Teen Wolf franchise.
