Scott and Allison were intended to be the main romance of Teen Wolf, but fans were far more interested in Stiles' love life. Stiles was first introduced as Scott's loyal sidekick, and his role as the comic relief kept the series light-hearted. However, it didn't take long for the writers to realize Stiles' emotional range and his deep capacity for love.

There's no saying how long Lydia would have kept up the facade if Stiles hadn't called her out on it. She was so impressed by his nerve and touched by the compliment, that Lydia took Stiles's hand and led him to the dance floor.

While he still had a lot of growing up to do during the second season, Stiles was often wise beyond his years in Teen Wolf. His crush on Lydia didn't translate to adult love, but what he said about the two of them ended up being true.
It was impossible to picture Stiles and Lydia as a couple in the early seasons as they had next to nothing in common. Yet, they became two halves of a whole. Once Stiles and Lydia discovered who they were as individuals, it was obvious that they fit together perfectly.

Lydia is so focused on saving everyone else, that she puts herself last. Therefore, when Stiles broke into Eichen House to rescue her, she was only concerned about his safety. Stiles used this quote to get through to Lydia and made it clear that he was saving her whether she liked it or not.
The camera zoomed in on Lydia's face as she gazed at Stiles, and it was the moment she understood the depth of his devotion to her. No matter how dangerous the rescue mission had proven to be, Stiles cared about Lydia more than himself.
"You Don't Have To."
Like always, Stiles knew exactly what Lydia needed to hear. He was taken by the ghost riders after confessing his love, but Lydia didn't get the chance to say it back. Losing Stiles was hard on everyone, but she was the one who suffered the most.
Things became even worse after Lydia regained her memories and realized that Stiles didn't know how she felt about him. By telling Lydia she didn't have to say it back, he put all her fears to rest. Stiles knows Lydia better than anyone, and she never had to say the words for Stiles to recognize that she loved him.

Sadly, this is another heartfelt quote that Lydia wasn't able to hear. Stiles was so desperate for Lydia to wake up that he didn't seem to care that he had an audience. Scott and Deaton looked on heartbroken, as Stiles held her face and begged Lydia to open her eyes.
There's a lot to take away from this scene, but the line "show me your eyes" stood out in particular. It was one of the softest things Stiles has ever said, and the side he displays with Lydia is an interesting juxtaposition from his usual, sarcastic self.

Stiles believed in Lydia even when she didn't. Although there was no proof that Lydia's banshee intuition was correct, Stiles told her not to doubt herself. He didn't seem to care that he got a week of detention, and focused only on Lydia's feelings.
Stiles was certain that Lydia was right and he wanted Lydia to be certain of it too. His offer to go back to the school was genuine, and if they hadn't found proof so quickly, Stiles would have kept searching until they did.
"Everything's Changed."
There are plenty of great Stiles and Lydia quotes in Teen Wolf, but this is one of the most significant. Being loved by Lydia changed Stiles's entire life, and from the way they look at each other in the hallway, it's obvious that they've never been happier.
The series finale jumps years into the future and proves that he was right about everything changing. Stiles and Lydia climb out of his jeep, implying that they've been together ever since high school.

His speech is the most epic declaration of love in the series, and despite having other romantic interests, Stiles establishes that it's always been her. Stiles uses his last words to confess his love for Lydia, and it's his most romantic quote by far.
