Teen Mom’s Mackenzie McKee shows off pictures of her sister’s new baby amid her many personal struggles. The young mom of three really needed some happy news to be excited about after the hard year.
Mackenzie first appeared on Teen Mom 2 back in 2013 when she was pregnant with her first child, Gannon Dewayne McKee. Fans were invited into her Oklahoma home where she struggled with her relationship with her then- boyfriend Josh McKee who had dreams of becoming a rodeo star and had no interest in becoming a teen father. Since the reality show was canceled, Mackenzie graduated high school, married Josh McKee, and started her own fitness business. On the August 5 episode of Teen Mom OG, Mackenzie opened up to the cameras about the struggles she had been facing with her husband along with the cheating rumors, which caused her to separate from Josh in August of this year.
The newest member of Teen Mom OG has had a rough year but she recently announced that there was good news to be shared. On Saturday, the 25-year-old reality star shared with fans that her sister was scheduled to have her baby via a Cesarean section. The MTV personality was in desperate need of good news since she had been going through her divorce from her husband and having to deal with her mother’s cancer diagnosis. Mackenzie took to her social media to tweet her good news which included a crying emoji. She then posted a black and white phot via Twitter of her sister's new baby. See the adorable tweet below:
Fans of the star took to Facebook and Twitter to send their congratulations saying that a baby is always a precious edition to any family. Some fans even mentioned how nice it was that Mackenzie’s mother would be around to bond with her grandchild. In the last episode for the season, Mackenzie shared with fans that her mother, Angie Douthit was given six months to live. Sadly, Douthit’s cancer which started in her lungs had now spread to other parts of her body. The reality star originally thought that her mother’s cancer had gone into remission but in May the family found out the cancer had returned. Mackenzie later shared that her mother was no longer being treated with chemotherapy.
While her mother continues to battle for her health, Mackenzie is still in a battle of her own with her husband of six years. While the couple separated back on August 16th the Teen Mom star only recently told her Instagram followers that she had filed for divorce. The reason behind their divorce according to Mackenzie was that they both had cheated on one another during their marriage. Fans wish nothing but the best for Mackenzie as she learns to navigate the trials and tribulations of life and hopes to see her again on the next season of the hit show.
