Annoyed MTV fans are dragging Teen Mom's Tyler Baltierra for a selfie and a poem that he posted on Instagram. The poem seemed to be about mental health awareness, but the selfie looked more like a modeling portfolio.

Teen Mom couple Catelynn and Tyler have been together since they were both in 7th grade. Catelynn found out she was pregnant when she was only 16-years-old, and the duo joined the cast of the very first 16 and Pregnant season on MTV in 2009. The couple has been through a whirlwind of emotions, especially after losing a baby, and Catelynn struggled with her mental health. The couple now has three children, with another on the way. They were the only couple to ever chose adoption for their child, and fans hold a special place in their hearts for them.

On Monday, Tyler took to his Instagram to post a lengthy poem along with an interesting selfie. The picture showed him wearing a blue T-shirt, staring into the camera, trying to make a sad, worn down face. The poem itself was harrowing with lines like But I stand tall, every demon I evict them. Because this is my mind.”  He wrote that writing was healing for him, and many fans felt he was opening up about his troubles and were ready to listen.

But sadly, not all fans were supportive, and some took to Reddit to question his post. While some wrote that his poem was on par with his daughter Nova’s reading level, others cut deeper, saying that his poetry was “rudimental” at best, yikes! Followers even took a dig at his face saying it looked altered since he was heavier at the recent reunion. The perpetual angsty teen was poked out on the entire feed with the last comment stating, If only my anxiety were crippled maybe it would leave me alone.”

Frankly, who really cares if his poem wasn’t up to par with Yates or Dickinson; the entire world has put a stigma on mental health, and Tyler seemed to be using his platform to bring awareness to the health crisis. Instead of being picked on, he should be lifted up. While some of the followers were quite mean, his Instagram fans shared the love, and many admitted that they had struggled, too.
